It’s decent
***UPDATE: the seller was kind enough to replace the plane with a new one; however, the replacement came apart the first day he flew it. It’s still a cool beginner plane but it can’t handle the learning curve of landing it. Giving an extra star for great customer service.*** It’s a decent RC plane. Kids will inevitably crash it multiple times. My 8yo has tried to be responsible and fly it carefully but it still fell apart after a few flights. The rear wheel fell off and was lost within the first few flights. The front broke off soon after. One of the propellers bent and now the plane flies wonky most of the time. I bought the protection/replacement plan knowing nothing RC works for long with a kiddo. We’ll be replacing it through the plan but we won’t buy another when that one fall apart.

AWESOME, WOULD BUY AGAIN
All of the failures people report seem to be user error. Mine works excellent. Make sure you have your trim and yaw set correctly but overall awesome and great for beginners and teens

A lot of fun to fly!
This thing works great. I gave it to my son for his 7th birthday and he is great at flying it. It can go to high a the automatic gyroscope helps it stay aloft for a while. A few things to note, it needs there to be little to no wind. And likely do to weight constraints, the batteries don’t last too long. But it is easy to control and lots of fun.

The gyro over controls the plane fly's erratic. The transmitter/receiver don't respond to inputs.
I give it one star for durability, because I attempted to fly it about 50 times and it crashed into something every time. There was no damage except the large propeller popped off. It pops right back on. I have experience with flying other RC planes. Flying in zero wind, I could get it to fly nicely about 3/4 of the way around the perimeter of large area. It would suddenly begin to flop side to side violently and then dive at the ground. I was able to save it with up elevator and adjusting the throttle, after that it wouldn't respond the right or left and flew straight into the trees. On other flights, it would fly straight from hand launch and WOULD NOT respond to turn inputs. I tried both fast and slow settings. IMO, the gyroscope is too sensitive, or the transmitter/receiver are faulty on this individual model, because I've seen reviews from others who have had satisfying results. This would be a fun toy if the gyro was shut off and the radio gear was better quality.

It’s good for kids; it just handles like it’s on training wheels
It’s neat for a super young kid. It flies. But it doesn’t act anything like a real remote control plane like a hobby zone. You definitely can’t do a loop or a barrel roll or anything. It has this intelligent gyroscope in it that just basically lets you fly in circles. A $99 hobby zone Piper cub actually can do all the cool stuff and actually acts like a real plane

Worth the money. Enhanced their love of flight.
As the parent of a seven-year-old, I was really worried this would be too fragile for them to actually use. I rarely write product reviews. But it was not too fragile. It's very well-made. Very light and durable within reason. We lost a couple propellers, but it comes with two extra propellers so we're still good to go. Has an amazingly long flight time. I didn't time it necessarily but it seems like it's darn near 15 minutes - on little tiny batteries. It comes with two batteries. Just an excellent product overall for the money. After the first outing (we've taken it out now maybe four times) my kid said "this was the greatest experience ever". Perspective I guess lol. But it certainly enhanced his inquisitiveness and love of aviation.

Great starter RC plane
I bought this for my son for Christmas. He wanted an RC airplane, but has never really flown one, and I didn’t want to pay a fortune for it. This plane is light, fairly stable in the air, and is easy for a kid starting off. I recommend removing the fake propeller on the nose (it is just for show) which will help the airplane to fly better. Also, do not fly it on windy days, or days with any wind at all for that matter. The wind will blow the plane uncontrollably, such as into trees, which is what happened to us!

Better then expected
So much better than expected. You really need a big space to use it. My son is 10 and can control it perfectly. The wheels are pointless and we've lost those, but other than that it's very durable, had lots of big crashes and it's still good as new (otyer than the wheels) . Battery life is great, good 25 minutes each battery.

Super fun
Two days and my son is OBSESSED. I gave it to him as an early birthday (9) gift and he's having an absolute ball. Just a quick update. We had some issues with our plane's wiring that I couldn't fix but the company was SUPER helpful. They're wonderful and the plane has been a huge success with my son. Highly recommend.

Mega begeistert
