Lite Travel Pack 30L (carry-on backpack, travel pack with laptop pocket, interior packing cells and tuck-away straps) - Clay

I finally took the leap and bought this for a trip to Spain. The backpack performed well under all kinds of circumstances. I checked luggage and used this as my carryon for IcelandAir - they’re very strict with bag requirements, but this backpack specs out perfectly. I’ve steered away from clamshells previously, but once I got the pack out right, it was a dream. Right side/back of pack stored a change of clothes, my medications, a fleece for the plane, an empty water bottle. Left side was tech pouch, headphones, sundry bag for daily use items, and an electric toothbrush case. Front of pack had the smaller pouch on top. Sunglasses, wallet, phone and everything in my pockets when going thru security. Larger pouch was for my sling, so easy to slide it in when not in use. I used the laptop sleeve for my tablet and books. It felt pretty safe but I did have a sleeve on the tablet and would do the same with my MacBook Air. Game changer was storing the backpack straps and using the luggage sleeve. Everything was easily accessible from the side. Then tossing it into the overhead bin with handles on top and sides was a breeze. Add in the quality materials that were so light yet felt premium. Fully packed out was 14lbs and I never felt like it was too heavy. Plenty of lash points for carabiners and my hero clip. I can’t believe I slept on buying this backpack. 100% worth the price point.

Love this bag! Great quality and after a few trips and a year of use, has held up great. Wasn't sure about the clay color before ordering, but once received it looked really nice and unique!

Recently purchased this bag. Looking to upgrade from my prior 2 travel bags. Absolutely LOVE this color. Bellroy wasn't kidding when they said it was light as well as being a very simple layout. If you need organization for your tech geat, this is not the bag for you. I have grown accustomed to traveling with packing cubes & tech pouches to keep myself organized. This bag by itself can easily work for a 3-5 day trip or you can use it in tandem with a rolling bag, giving it some nice versatility.. The 30L can fit under US domestic flight seats thanks to how malleable the bag is (check your airline to be sure). The outer pockets are surprisingly spacious, so you never feel like the inner pockets are competing for space with their out pocket counterparts. Love that the shoulder straps can be tucked away. The connector loop on the bag feels strong, but I'll keep an eye out it as I use the bag more. the luggage pass through is the entire back panel which is a plus. Some may not like the fact that the bag will sit horizontally on top of a suitcase rather than upright, not a deal breaker for me. This works well with the laptop compartment being side loaded rather than over the top. Speaking of which, the 1 real snag is that laptop compartment. Bellroy claims that it will fit up to a 16" laptop. Not all 16" laptops are the same. Alas, my Dell Precision 5680 I use for work does NOT fit. I'm assuming that a 16" Macbook Pro can, but I have not tested that myself. Guess I'll have to keep my T66 around for business trips then. Overall, love the bag. Love the materials, light weight, comfort & its simplicity. At $200 for the 30L, it is an investment. Excellent solo bag for weekends to 5 day trips. Something longer, I'd opt for the 38L instead, but that 1 isn't going under any seats. Again, if you have a 16" laptop, may need to make sure that it fits before you commit to the purchase. Look forward to using it on road trips & flights in the future.

PERFECT TRAVEL BAG- I initially got the Bellroy 30L that expands to 38L, but it was too large to fit under an airline seat without difficulty once packed. After a TON of research, this bag was found to be the best option. Typically, this will be paired with a Nomatic wheeled carry on. This Bellroy 30L can hold a LOT of clothing. So an extra pair of shoes, toiletry bag, jeans or long pants and heavier, larger items will go in the rolled carry on. This bag will hold socks, underclothes, shirts, shorts, computer (has a sleeve for my Apple 15" Macbook Air), electronics items (charger, headphones). I can probably get enough for a 7 day trip in these two bags, plus I have a 2.5L Bellroy sling that perfectly holds passport, wallet, cash, mini flashlight, gum, mints, small items, etc. For me this is the absolute perfect combination. Hope this helps someone else find the perfect combination. Go to Bellroy's website and check out the full functionality and design of this particular piece. Yes, over $200 is a nice investment, but a great value and worth every penny from my perspective. (As long as you fill this bag to the max and/or overstuff, it can work as an under the seat carry on on most major airlines, but maybe not budget airlines). It can also double as a backpack for your trip once you get to your arrival destination.

Love this bag - have used it as my personal item on several long trips since I purchased it. I love the simple design. Easy to maximize the space without too many zippers, etc. Great quality as well!

Took on a 5 day trip and it was a perfect companion and easily handled everything I personally needed. I have the 10L camera sling too. A perfect combo. I owned the Cotapaxi Alpa 42 and it's very similar style to the Belroy - but just TOO LARGE and cumbersome.

A repeating customer of Belroy, I have their Tokyo Tote bag, Market Bag and this is the recent addition for my cabin travelling needs. The compartments and material is sufficient to organise all my stuff and sufficient to pack 3-4 days worth of travelling needs.

Super, très pratique pour voyager. Attention à la poche du dessus qui peut s'ouvrir facilement par quelqu'un derrière. Ce n'est pas le cas de la poche pour PC/Ipad. On peut y mettre quelques si le voyage est cours. Très bonne qualité.

海外出張が増えてきたため、機内持ち込み可能で使い勝手の良いバックパックを探していたところ、このBellroyのLite Travel Packにたどり着きました。 正直、購入時は価格にかなり躊躇しました。同じ容量のリュックなら半額以下で買えるものはたくさんあります。しかし、実際に使ってみると、この価格差には理由があることがわかりました。 まず、30Lという容量ながら見た目がスマートで、ビジネスシーンでも違和感がありません。空港のセキュリティチェックでは、PCポケットが独立しているため、ノートPCをサッと取り出せるのが本当に便利です。メインコンパートメントのメッシュの仕切りも、衣類とガジェット類を分けて収納できて整理しやすいです。 特に気に入っているのは、収納可能なショルダーストラップ。普段は背負っていますが、狭い機内では肩掛けにできるので、座席上の収納スペースへの出し入れがとても楽になりました。 素材も撥水性があり、突然の雨でも中身が濡れる心配がありません。ファスナーの滑りも良く、細部まで作りがしっかりしています。 デメリットを挙げるとすれば、やはり価格と、完全防水ではない点でしょうか。また、容量を重視する方には物足りないかもしれません。 2泊3日程度の出張なら、このリュック一つで十分対応できています。高い買い物でしたが、使用頻度を考えると良い投資だったと思います。品質重視で、機内持ち込み可能なビジネスバックパックを探している方にはおすすめできる製品です。

He probado esta mochila en un viaje en avión de un fin de semana y ha resultado perfecta en todos los aspectos: es ligera, tiene una gran capacidad, y además cabe perfectamente debajo del asiento delantero, incluso en un vuelo low cost. La mochila está bien diseñada y es de muy buena calidad, lo cual hace que valga la pena el precio. Hay que tener en cuenta que es una mochila ligera (no pesa nada) y blanda, de manera que va tomando forma a medida que se llena. Su uso ideal es para llevar ropa y algunos complementos para un fin de semana, además de un portátil en el bolsillo que tiene para esto. Los compartimentos interiores están muy bien pensados y facilitan enormemente hacer la maleta y tenerlo todo a mano.

This is so light for how sturdy it is, and can pack a lot into it! My only complaint is that there isn't really a great place to put drink bottles and because it is a clam-shell open, it's hard to access things in the main compartment without pulling the whole thing apart to get to the internal compartments. i love the small pockets at the front and the dedicated padded laptop space at the back which is amazing!! Comfortable to wear, I took this travelling in Singapore and it was awesome and breathable in the heat. Highly recommend!
