Love these. The two tone gray and black grips with grey lettering are a sleek option as apposed to the usual bright red and blue. The lightweight and excellent build quality will make the competition blush. All the ladies on the jobsite wanted a pair. I probably sold 4 or 5 for Amazon just letting people look at them. They adjust simply with one hand so you have your “me hand” free to do you boo boo ;) And they lock up tight, water tight, tight like a frogs…. Well, anyway, it stays tight! As for form and functionality, you buy Knipex tools so your kids don’t have to. If you don’t know this company’s reputation for quality products you should do yourself a favor and make this your first Knipex purchase. You’ll love it too.

Having been an automotive technician for twenty years I own more than $100k in tools. I would recommend Knipex to anyone. Even over a Snap-On or a Klein pliers. I really just bought this specific one for a novelty, home use plier. The finish is definitely distinct.

I Didn’t feel bad about spending the money for a pair of these. I tend to use the right tool for the job, I carry a crescent, ratchet, nut driver and channel locks while at work.
