AMAZING for stopping cramps from exercising!!!
I am an avid cyclist and would regularly ride 50 milers with no issues. Never had an issue with cramps, even when going 70 or 80 miles. 2 yrs ago I had major reconstructive knee surgery and was off the bike for over a year. Needless to say, when I got back on I was FAR from where I was prior to the surgery. I slowly worked my way back up the miles, but for some reason, kept hitting the 38 mile mark and getting MAJOR cramps in my legs. They were so bad that I had to get off the bike for 10 or 15 minutes to get them to relax enough to continue. I tried some other electrolyte/salt solutions but nothing really helped. A biking buddy of mine, who is also a doctor, told me I needed replenishing salts. I had always just used pickle juice and electrolyte drinks. He has the medical background so I figured he probably knew what he was talking about. He gave me 4 packs of Trioral salts. The next ride I did, I put it in my water. It was HORRIBLE to put it bluntly. It was just a bottle of salty water, which is NOT an appealing taste when riding. To be honest, I didn't drink it at all. Fast forward to my first attempt at a 50 miler again. This time I put it into my lemon flavored, sugar free electrolyte drink. That made ALL the difference. The lemon flavor made the saltiness almost disappear, making it easier to drink. I used one pack between my 2 bottles and, for the beginning, it worked great. Hit a rough patch about 40 miles in. My buddy had me put some of the salt directly in my mouth with some water and hold it there for 2 minutes. LITERALLY 2 minutes is all it took and the leg cramps DISAPPEARED!!!!! I was honestly in shock it worked that fast. You may need to play around with how much you use as everyone's body is different. I found that, even tho it says 1 pouch is good for 1 liter of fluid, I need 1 pouch per water bottle (25 oz bottle is my size). My friend only needs half per bottle and that works for him. Since the price works out to about 40 cents per pack when you buy 100, it isn't a bad price at all. Overall, I highly recommend this to keep you going no matter what exercise you are doing!

Hydration That Works
As someone who sweats a lot and struggles with water retention, this product has made a noticeable difference. Every time I use it, I feel significantly more hydrated, and it helps prevent those nagging dehydration headaches I used to get regularly. Itโs become a staple for me during intense summer workouts and even during the occasional night out drinking. It works fast, tastes decent, and doesnโt upset my stomach like some other hydration mixes do. Pros: Actually improves hydration and water retention Helps prevent dehydration-related headaches Great for workouts, hot days, or recovery after drinking Cons: Extremely salty taste (but thatโs expected with electrolyte formulas) If you deal with excessive sweating or just want a solid way to stay on top of hydration, this is absolutely worth having on hand.

Affordable Rehydration for POTS/Dysautonomia THAT WORKS! (saves me over $350/month)
Having POTS and dysautonomia makes drinking plain water about the equivalent of trying to water concrete. TLDR; This stuff works. Even for people who REALLY struggle to "absorb" water or other hydration drinks. Over the years I've found very few ways to hydrate - getting saline infusions multiple times a week, Liquid IV, and diet dr. pepper. - Even with insurance, infusions aren't cheap. Not to mention the time it requires to go in and get them - plus where I live, they are done at the cancer center, and I never feel great about taking up a treatment room. - Liquid IV has steadily become less affordable as they've shifted their market away from people with POTS. - And while it's (somewhat) affordable, drinking 4-8 liters+ of diet Dr. Pepper a day also means taking in a ton of aspartame and other additives, and it definitely isn't portable. Last year I hit a breaking point when I realized that even when buying in bulk, I was still spending over $300/month on liquid IV and I started to look into why it was that LIV worked while other hydration drinks didn't. Over the years I've tried different hydration drinks, mixes, and pills - individually - over a period of 2 weeks to 2 months. It seemed like the ones with a little sugar worked better (with the exception of diet Dr Pepper - and the only thing I can figure is it is one of the "23" secret ingredients mixed with aspartame). To give you an idea, I have become severely dehydrated drinking gatorade. I hadn't had any luck with water, Gatorade, Powerade, DripDrop, Ultima, coconut water, etc; or while taking SaltTabs. Nuun tablets worked to an extent but were counterintuitive because it would make me nauseous. This is the fourth solution I've found to being able to hydrate adequately and the ONLY method that is (A) affordable and (B) doesn't contain ingredients I'd rather not consume in mass quantities. Using 1/2 packet in 1/2 gallon 2-4 times a day has worked as well as getting infusions or using 8-10 packets of LIV. (When I'm out and about I just fold over the top of the Trioral packet a couple times, I've considered getting a portable snack sealer to toss on a keychain and attach to my water bottle) Trioral = $.80-1.60/day versus Liquid IV = $11.84-17.76/day If drinking Trioral in plain water, I won't lie, it is definitely an acquired tasted, but it's doable. I'll drink it plain, add it to other drinks, add flavoring, or infuse it with fruit or cucumbers. On average, I've saved about $408 a month using Trioral. If you struggle with hydration the way I do, you know what an impossible and frustrating situation staying hydrated can be. Trioral has been an absolute game-changer for my quality of life.

Great electrolytes for when you really need them
This is a great value for what you get. My box expires sometime in 2023 and all 100 packets were there. As a WHO recipe hydration solution, rapid absorption is guaranteed due to the ration of sugar and electrolytes (an oversimplified explanation) when mixed with the recommended 1 liter of water. If youโre dehydrated or sweating like someone working (or working out) in 100+ degree weather, this is what you want. Yes, Nuun, Fluid, liquid I.V. Will do the job, but the value here is phenomenal. Each packet can truly make 4 times the solution that one satchel of liquid IV would give you at Liquid IVโs electrolyte levels, and it will give you way more than One Nuun Sport tablet. Want some flavor? Add some orange Tang powder, kool aid, lemonade mix, etc. Yes, itโs a bit salty but it has a lot of sodium. Itโs supposed to taste like that. Pretty good stuff here. Yes, you could buy the ingredients in bulk and make your own, but these are so convenient and sealed in single serving size and the cost so reasonable itโs worth it.

Life saving
The absolute best life saving product. I've been in some seriously bad situations in the back country. This is a literal life saver. When you're volume depleted, water alone won't help. You need the mix of sugar and salts this has to allow your body to absorb the water. You can feel it working in your body in minutes when you drink it. Its better than an IV. I've had hyponatremia on some trips before from sweating. This helped remedy mild cases of it with the headache and cramps. Profuse diarrhea and vomiting. Some sips of this slowly. I keep a few bags in my car and bring it on every trip. The best stuff ever made, and so much better than gatoraide. Cheaper than pedialyte.

They work great but taste is less than desired
I do disaster relief and as such hydration is MANDATORY. I always carry a few of these for me as well as a pouch full for anyone in need like my companions or those being rescued. They hydrate well when mixed with good clean water. I canโt say the flavor is great. Sort like a warm sports drink with no fruit flavor added. Palletable but not something anyone really looks forward to as far as flavor

Best Bang for your buck
Hydration salts are so expensive. I was about to buy stuff to just mix my own until I found these. I bought it for hiking in the desert in the summer. I now use them to rehydrate during hot yoga, a hard workout, a night of drinking, or even when I'm just feeling dehydrated. At first, the taste was a little off-putting. It's slightly salty, but there's no additional flavor in there which is liberating. I've grown to like the taste and drink it straight most times but in the beginning I'd add juice, Tang, Kool-aid, or Country Crock lemonade mix to it. It's like having the more expensive flavored hydration salt brands at a fraction of the price even if you buy something additional to cover the flavor. I've hiked with just plain water and I've hiked with the Trioral mixed in my pack and I feel it makes a huge difference. My hiking buddies are converted and so is my family. These rock, and even if you don't enjoy the taste, at least it's easy to modify it with what you like and still get the benefits. I'm sold!

Do you want effective rehydration or a tasty drink?
This is the best rehydration for the best price period. Are you looking for effective rehydration or a tasty drink? If the former, buy these. If the latter buy something else for twice the price. A lot of reviews don't like the taste, and sure it is personal preference, but there is really nothing offensive about it. It tastes salty and slightly sweet. My spouse also wasn't crazy about the taste at first, however, both of us have now "acquired" a taste for it which I attribute to associating the taste with knowing I will feel better from whatever fluid draining circumstance I happen to be in. I'm writing this review 10 months later as I am back to buy my second box of 100. The other thing I love about these is being able to use them and pass them out liberally without worry of the cost or running out. I had the liquid IV packets before and was always second guessing whether the circumstance really justified a $1.50 packet. At 40 cents...just use it, and put an extra in your pocket just in case!.... Update, I am back again to resupply. These are still the best!
