Bought as a gift for christmas

This is the brand new release from this line. When I ordered this, I first thought it was the original sent but it’s not. This is the brand new 2025 fragrance. It was really nice to try this. This is sweet and fruity and absolutely feminine. Worth a try if you are a fan of the original from back in the day.

Absolutely stunning fragrance that blends floral and fruity notes in a way that feels both fresh and seductive. The opening burst of bergamot is vibrant and uplifting, while the heart of rose adds a romantic, elegant touch. As it settles, the base of cedar adds a warm, grounding depth that balances the sweetness of the florals and fruit. The scent has great longevity, lasting all day without fading, and the projection is just right, not too overpowering but still noticeable. It’s a fragrance that feels youthful and playful, yet sophisticated enough for any occasion. The bottle itself is sleek and modern, which makes it a beautiful addition to any perfume collection. This has quickly become one of my go-to scents, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a lively, floral-fruity fragrance with a touch of warmth. I will be wearing this any time I have a nice night out in the Summer.

I like this scent, which is somewhat floral. Unfortunately, my husband doesn't like the smell. I don't think he is a fan of the rose smell. I will still wear it, just not for our date nights. It's strong, so one spray is all one needs. With one spray it's not a heavy smell, but 2 sprays will definitely over do it. It is very long lasting as well. I'm not sure what the deal is with the metal loop in front of the spray. I twist it to the side. I would prefer a cap.

The box and bottle appear correct but this is 100 percent a fake knock off perfume. Not the same at all. My mother has worn this perfume for years and what is in this bottle is a fake.

So, Amor Amor by Cacharel is for those who love a floral and/or fruity scent. I requested this scent because of the mandarin, blood orange, and pink grapefruit, along with the floral scents of jasmine and lily-of-the-valley; it's a beautiful combination.I enjoyed its longevity, but what I loved even more is that it did not trigger my allergies. I have severe allergies with floral scents as they can be truly cloying so I gravitate more towards the fruity scents. I did receive many compliments on this perfume as well. You know when you're complimented on a scent, it's a keeper! I can wear this perfume everyday and it's nice to wear for work and play. It is an Eau de Toilette spray but it's pretty good as far as longevity...sprayed myself in the a.m. and still could smell the scent through my hot flashes in the p.m.Recommendations: I don't have anything negative to say about this perfume. I will add it to my perfume collection. I recommend this perfume. Perfumes are very personal to each individual so I hope that this review will assist you in giving this scent a try. STARS: 3 1/2

I was thrilled to receive this fragrance to test and review, as I am a huge perfume enthusiast and love to try new scents. I want to address the 2 reviews here, where people are complaining that this is counterfeit, or not the same as the original. As far as I know, the original Amor Amor was released in 2003 as an EDT (eau de toilette) while this version is a new fragrance, released in 2024 as an EDP (eau de parfum). I have never smelled the original, but maybe that helps to clarify why it doesn't smell "like the one your mother wore" etc, as it's a brand new formulation. That said, it's a nice change of pace from the usual vanilla and caramel gourmands that I typically wear. I sprayed it on today when I got out of the shower, and it smelled super clean, all fresh & fruity, almost like a body spray from your mall store, but, this has serious lasting power. Its not linear at all, and has developed over time. At first, I got a blast of juicy pear, which was immediately countered by a fun dark red berry (black currant). After a while a tiny bit of rose peaked out, but not your traditional rose - a dark cherry rose, jammy, syrupy - really different from what you would expect. Cherry lovers might like this. There is also that classic musk and a hint of a fuzzy vanilla. Its overall very pleasant, an easy reach, and smells so clean without actually being soapy. Would be a safe buy, probably for a younger, more free-spirited girl. It radiates youthfulness and the feel of being carefree. No complaints at all and I will probably put this in a summer/outdoor weather rotation.

This is a new scent/brand for me and I'm pleased to have found it!Attractive enough to leave out on your vanity or dresser top.Ample amount of fragrance, easy to spray and a little definitely goes a long way here!Seductive scent, slightly spicy, but the dry down reveals the vanilla sweetness layer. I find it intoxicating. Perhaps not for every day wear, but for a dinner out, date night or when you want to feel some added sex appeal, this scent is suited well for any of those times!I've always been a musk scent fan, and this one exudes that same warmth.The fragrance lasts at least a few hours and does settle a bit over time, which is nice so it just melds with your own body chemistry nicely.Would be a nice gift, ideal for Valentine's Day!
