Don't throw out your old tools!!!
This adaptor is wonderful. I had a complete wireless B & D firestorm tool set that took the 24amp nicad battery. I had replaced the battery a few times but I think it's discontinued now. All I could find were refurbished ones. Was really close to junking them. I had gotten a B & D lithium drill with a few extra batteries. Luckily I found this adaptor because I almost had to replace my old tools which would of cost me a fortune. It works great. Probably one of the best finds I've made in awhile.

Works With 99% of Black and Decker Tools
I ordered this many years ago from the same vendor and has worked great. I decided to purchased a backup adapter. I only had one Black and Decker tool that this would not work, because the 20 volt lithium battery would not clear the housing of the tool (width). The tool was a B&D hand vac. All my garden B&D tools it works with no problems, which includes the 18 volt hedge shears, blower and tiller.

Extends the life of your tools that use the old battery design
This adapter allows you to use the new 20v batteries, which charge faster and last longer. I've purchased a number of these, mostly because when you drop the tool, the adapter breaks. It's a good product... just hold onto the tool.

worked as advertised
This added new life to my old Black and Decker looper. New 2ov battery lasts much longer than the old 18v battery does.

Works great
This adapter allows me to use my 20 volt Black and Decker batteries in 18 volt Black and Decker tools. The 20 volt battery needs to be put into the adapter first before you put the adapter into the 18 volt tool.
