Therabody SmartGoggles 2nd Gen Heated Eye & Temple Massager

​I work long, physical hours in construction, and dealing with pounding headache pressure at the end of a tough day on the job site used to completely ruin my evenings. Purchasing the Therabody SmartGoggles (2nd Gen) has been a total game-changer and easily one of the best investments I’ve made for my health. ​Here is why they are worth it: ​Fast-Acting Migraine Relief: Whenever I feel a terrible migraine coming on, I throw these on and set them to heat and massage. This eye massager works really well and is great for relaxing tired eyes. I rarely use it at home, but I mostly take it with me when I travel and use it on flights. It’s especially nice during long flights when my eyes feel tired and I want to relax. Very happy with it overall.

Like the idea although it has some drawbacks. It’s noisy. You have to use earbuds (or like) because the noise distracts from the experience. The pressure applied for different settings can be discomforting. The app is a bit glitchy (doesn’t always hold your results to see). You can get blackout but it takes several slight adjustments during the session to achieve.

THIS IS AMAZING!!!!! i was definitely intimidated by the price of this thing but holy wow - with an 8 month old baby and a husband with a high stress job and sleep problems this has been life saving for the both of us. it relives my stress headaches like nothing else and i haven’t seen my husband sleep as well as he has been in a long time. it fits well on both of us even though we definitely have different sized heads and the battery life is more than reasonable. I think this is going to be well worth the money with the comfort it will be bringing us in the future.

Looked up few and since i had the therabody hot/cold therapy thing that wotked great i webt with them. It seems to help, bought to try when had a full week that couldn't sleep at all, mind wouldn't shut down or something. I did that once in school 7 days no sleep just for fun or science idk and its not like the movies or TV, you don't go crazy or hallucinate. Never had this problem though and normally go right to bed. So after 4-5 days just laying there unable to sleep i was desperate, found this to try. It did help then and now only really use once in good while. The pressure on some of or mainly the forehead could be a lot stronger. The other areas are strong and feel good but after used few times seems less and less or maybe just as battery dies gets less so charge accordingly if your having a bad week, but didnt pay attention that well on that. I havnt used the app. All can say is still works for those times need it. Is comfortable and if pressure felt light i tightened back. Sometimes used for 2x the 15min or once or less, once notice the pressure is putting me to sleep i take off and go beddy bye. 4stars only cause if they made the forehead part a lot stronger it would fell amazing there and work faster.

Unbelievably loud! I tried the 1st generation goggles that a friend has and they were amazing! So much so, that I immediately ordered a pair but the 2nd generation version is currently the only one available. I was so excited when they arrived but quickly disappointed. They are comically loud and the forehead ‘massage’ is almost non existent. I tried to make them work but they did the opposite of helping my headache. Returned them and ordered the Renpho face and head massager and what a difference! Highly recommend that product if you want actual pressure massage on your face and head without extremely loud noises. EDIT: The Renpho massager broke within 3 weeks. It was amazing and helped me sleep until it didn’t. Disappointing.

I get migraines a lot and travel for work weekly I use it multiple ways throughout my week it’s not loud witch helps for using it on the plane and on stressful gate changes it helps me regulate after stressful airport gate runs lol when I get to the hotel it helps me wine down to be able to sleep at night when the migraines hit the heat feature coupled with the goggles blocking out light helps ease the pain I’m experiencing during migraines I love the app that you can use with these and you are even able to save your favorites is it a high end product yes but will you find yourself and others in your household grabbing for it often also yes it is also very comfortable to wear it comes with me on every trip !

Item does a very nice job with massaging the temple area. The vibration and compression and heat are all very nice and well done. However, at the end of each session it makes an annoying loud beep. It startled me awake and does the reverse of its intended goal of helping consumers relax and fall asleep. I contacted the manufacturer, Therabody, and I was told that they are unable to disable it. They are aware of the problem and I’ve seen many people make this same complaint. If they had said that they were working on an update that would disable the beep, then I wouldn’t have returned the item. The beep happens at any end of session and also at the end of 15 minutes. Completely disruptive and a bad design. They also put the controls on the area above the eye on each side. If you go to adjust the goggles upper down or left or right, you end up pressing the controls accidentally because it’s pretty hard to avoid the controls when you’re moving the goggles into a different place. Bad design again !

I expected it to do more than massage the temple, I thought it would have massage under the eyebrows and up cheek. Vibrations are not as strong. Its still has good quality and the app is good, but its just an expectation for the price, i thought it could do more. Buying one for less than $100 would probably do the same

This thing is huge and didn’t fit my face. Just squeezes your temples with a ton of empty space between your eyes. If you enjoy listening to the sound of muffled drilling and construction, then get these.
