This is a furiously busy watch, with several complications and plenty happening on the dial, but that is a large part of its appeal. The high-frequency quartz movement is extremely precise, and the sweeping second hand is such a pleasure to watch. The chronograph is equally impressive, especially the millisecond display, which moves amazingly fast when in use.It is also a very hefty watch. The weight gives it a substantial, well-made feel, while the curved mineral crystal adds just enough elegance to balance out its size. I have already received dozens of compliments on it. One person described it as “one serious hunk of a watch,” which seems about right.There is one helpful sizing detail worth knowing before removing any links. The bracelet has two adjustment clasps, and the smaller one can be loosened if fastening both makes the watch feel too tight or keeps it from fitting properly.Overall, it has the look and feel of a much more expensive watch while still offering the quality I expect from Bulova. It makes me feel like a millionaire without requiring a millionaire’s budget. A maximalist's dream watch. Satisfied.
