This Chefman electric kettle is excellent and easily one of the best I’ve owned. It boils water incredibly quickly thanks to the powerful 3000W heating element, which is perfect when you don’t want to wait around for a cuppa. The 1.8L capacity is ideal for making several drinks at once or for cooking. The borosilicate glass design looks smart and modern, and it’s reassuring to know it’s BPA-free. I particularly like the removable lid, which makes cleaning very easy, and the stainless-steel filter is a nice quality touch. The auto shut-off and boil-dry protection give real peace of mind. Overall, it feels well-built, efficient, and thoughtfully designed. Fantastic value for money and highly recommended.

Fantastic replacement for our previous long serving electric kettle. Truly fast boil. No spill spout is a bonus. A valued and very useful buy. The light is reasonably bright and the empty boil prevention truly works. Of note is the detachable cover

The kettle itself is really good. It’s the first kettle I’ve owned, where the flick switch doesn’t bounce back up if you take it off the stand (while boiling) to add more water, which to me is a plus. Aesthetically, it looks good, but the trim at the top of mine kept pinging off on one side after we’d had it a few days. It got really annoying and hard to put back on when the kettle is full of hot water, so my partner removed the trim altogether. It doesn’t really detract too much from the appearance, but I’ve knocked one star off for this, as a little more thought into the design would have prevented this happening, as the trim was tucked into the handle on both sides. The lid needs removing altogether to fill, and it fits on really well, with a satisfying ‘click’ into place, and doesn’t get too hot to touch, if you need to refill to reuse straight away. I don’t consider it to be a noisy kettle, but obviously you can hear it as it heats the water up. It’s not as tall as my previous kettle, although it holds the same amount of water, it’s just slightly wider round the girth of the kettle instead. It doesn’t take too long to boil, I’ve had slower kettles, it all depends on the wattage of the kettle of course. I boiled my kettle twice (and discarded the water each time) before using it to make tea/coffee, but there were no obvious ‘factory odours’ lingering on the kettle prior to first boiling. Overall, it doesn’t what it’s supposed to do, and I’m happy with that.

Purchased for Mother as her plastic one started leaking along viewing window. I love the appearance of the kettle and the bright blue lights at the bottom. It boils quickly and the removable doesn't get hot to the touch allowing you to refill immediately. Pours well no leakage very pleased. Kettle was reduced in price pre Christmas making it more desirable but I would have purchased it anyway as I loved the look of it.

I had to order a kettle a few months ago, so found a glass one, but the lid leaked. They very kindly replaced, but the lid still leaked, the pour was slow and you had to go careful when pouring as the handle got hot and u could feel the heat from the glass body which u had to go careful with. Not only that, the drips from the lid. I painstakingly looked for other brands and came across this one. The handle is perfect, doesn’t get hot like the other one did. The spout pour is sooo much better on this one, and the lid doesn’t leak. I wish I got this one sooner. This is much better for my disabled son to use as it’s much safer and I feel a lot more confident letting him use it. Very sturdy and great to use.

Stylish and useful. I like the clear glass and the blue light that stays on while boiling and goes off on completion. I also like the base which is wired rather than the kettle, leaving it cable-free. Markings on each side show either number of cups or measurements in litres. Removable lid allows easy access to fill or wipe the interior. No residual taste to the boiled water.

The kettle is ok. Works as well as any other kettle. The issue we had is the new kettle taste lasted a lot longer than any other kettle. We even tried putting bicarbonate of soda in the kettle water and left it over night. This is our 3rd day now and there's still a slight taste in the tea. The open lid is ok but you need both hands to open the lid as opposed to one handed flip open top to refill other kettles. I wouldn't say it's a rapid boil kettle. It takes similiar amount to any other kettle. Will use it now that I've bought it.

Inexpensive and it gets the job done. i made the mistake of putting milk in mine the first time I ever used it. Don't do that. Get an actual milk heater. After cleaning it thoroughly there's still a lingering smell. But if you use it correctly and put water in it then it's great. It takes maybe 3 minutes to boil and then it automatically turns off and stays heated while on the heating pad. My only complaint is you have to actually take the lid off of it in order to pour, unless I just don;t have it lined up correctly. I use this to make hot chocolate pretty frequently after buying it instead of a $100+ "cordless" kettle.

I was honestly shocked by how well this kettle works—especially at this price point. It heats water *fast*, making it perfect for tea, coffee, or anything else you need hot water for. One click and it’s off and running. Super simple to use, and the indicator light gives a clear visual when it’s operating. The lid has a really satisfying, secure click when it locks in place, which just adds to the overall quality feel. One of my favorite features is how you can lift it off the base without worrying about heat—neither the bottom of the kettle nor the plate gets hot, which makes it very kid- and countertop-friendly. Of course, the glass itself gets hot (as expected), but it’s easy to handle safely. For the price, this is an incredible value. It’s efficient, sleek, and does exactly what it’s supposed to—quickly and reliably. Highly recommend it!

I really like this Chefman Electric Kettle! It is quick and does the job! Cord length is sufficient for my countertop usage. I use distilled water so I don't get hard water accumulation on the glass. I like the blue light that comes on while heating, very attractive appliance.
