Must Have for your quality writing tools!
Great product! I carry lots of stuff in my pockets and/or backpack/messenger bag. I also carry a nice Pilot Vanishing Point pen that I do not want scratched, marred, or otherwise damaged by that stuff. This pen slip is just the ticket to protect it. The leather is nice and thick, though not too thick. The stitching is tight and even. The fit is tight for my pen, which is not a skinny one. However, leather stretches, and this is working out fine for my pen. After all, I want the pen to stay in there until I take it out; I do not want it inadvertently sliding out. I think the slip could be improved by leaving it unstitched a little more from the top to let you get a grip on the pen, particularly when the pen is a tight fit. It would still protect the pen while providing a longer gripping surface for those of us whose fingers are challenged by arthritis or other problems. I had not thought of using it as I see in one picture with the pocket clip over the leather. A problem with that is that it leaves part of the pen exposed for possible damage. Another problem is that the leather is fairly thick, and you might permanently deform the clip by sliding it over the leather, which is as thick as several layers of shirt pocket material, or a couple of the welting on a jacket pocket.Regardless, the Leather Pen Slip is a great tool for those of us who use pens costing more than the typical $2 - $5 office supply store pen, and being leather, it adds a touch of class as well. I'm glad I bought two so I m ready when I make my next purchase of a higher end fountain pen.

Inexpensive real leather option to protect a fine pen. Easy way to carry a Mont Blanc Meisterstuck or Pelikan 400 size in your pocket or purse and avoid getting banged around and scratched. I like to shove the pen all the way down into the pocket and then to get it out, turn it upside down into the palm of my hand, squeeze the sides and shake it a little until the pen slides out. I usually break these in by putting a much wider pen or some little tube into it for a day and press on it a few times to loosen up the leather.

First class product
This product is first rate for sure. The leather is beautiful and it holds my Parker 51 perfectly. It comes boxed nicely for gifting purposes. The leather has conformed to the pen so the pen slides in and out perfectly; too tight in the beginning as you might expect.

Sturdy and looks great
Sturdy slipcase, made of good quality leather, and looks great. Well-stitched and should last a long time. Using it for a Staedtler 925 lead holder/mechanical pencil, but it also fits my various fountain pens.

Very nice
Well made, very nice. I subtracted one star because this is only for skinny pens. I have fat pens and getting them in and out is a project. I should have purchased the two-pen size.

Great for Pen Protection
It's the perfect size to protect my pen from getting nicked up from keys, etc. while in my pocket. It's high quality leather and worth the money.

Very nice Leather
I really like this, but the seam at the opening is already coming loose. Other than that it is a beautiful cover.

Great for any precious pens that aren't really thick.
Using it for a Pilot Namiki Falcon that I bought recently. At first it was a bit tight, but after working out the leather and leaving it in there for a while the fit is just right. Nice leather quality and color. I would absolutely avoid pop cap pens with this at first. You'll end up with half the pen stuck in there and have a fun time getting it out.
