Just like the original/OEM
Fits and looks exactly like the original glass plate on the stock Pixel 2XL. I removed my original, scratched the black paint off the inside of this one, used double-sided adhesive, and affixed the clear backplate. Works like a charm, though I can guarantee this ain't coming off in one piece without a heat gun, gentle hands, and a lot of patience.

Made of glass can't scratch it. Fit like original and looks great. Not brave enough to check water proof.

Better than an $80 repair bill...
Apparently the Pixel 2XL that I had, had a glass piece that was installed badly. I could feel the edges of it even when it was whole.This one? This one is perfect. Just don't do like I almost did and put the piece on without transferring the camera cover over which it doesn't come with. The adhesive was good and I have no issues so far.

Highly Recommended! Saved $$$ By Replacing Myself!
This item feels and looks just like the original! The total process from removal to installation took about 30 minutes - However, I definitely recommend viewing the Youtube video describing the removal and installation process! I can't confirm whether or not this is real glass but you won't be able to tell the difference from the original glass! Highly Recommended!

Much needed replacement part for Pixel 2 XL
The fit and feel of the glass is perfect. The adhesive could have been better, but with some heat it works.

Clean thoroughly before applying
Not a bad replacement. Especially to make your phone look new again. Definitely something you can do yourself but be careful peeling near the camera and flash of your broken piece. Tiny pieces so do on flat surface. Clean surface because glue on this item isn't all over so you have to make sure it adheres well.

Perfect fit. Genuine glass
Follow the tutorials on youtube on how to remove the broken glass. You can remove the glass without a heat gun as well, just be careful to not damage any internal components. Once that is out o f the was fixing this is a piece of cake. Good adhesive, strong hold , looks like the genuine one.

Possibly plastic?
Fit was good, adhesive was well placed. I'm not convinced that this isn't plastic though. I didn't want to break it to find out, understandably.
