My partner and I needed a pair of water shoes each for our holiday to Jamaica, and after reading around, decided on a pair of these. I bought the womens for my partner and the mens for myself. On reading other reviews, general advice was to size down despite the "fit" showing as true to size by majority vote. It was either that or go by the actual "length" measurements...My partner is a 7 in almost everything, and she sized down to a 6 on general advice. Hers were initially too tight, so she needed a 7 in the end, which fit her perfectly.I'm a size 8 in trainers, 8 in "most" shoes, 7 in some shoes, and 7 in most Skechers. In order to get a size that fit me close enough, I had to drop down to a size 6 in the mans water shoe. I initially tried a 7 and they were like boats on me. Even the 6 is slightly too large in all dimensions, but it's the smallest mans size they had. I added a better insole with more padding and shape, and that with the toggle meant they fit pretty snug.With next day delivery and free returns, it's not too much of an issue, but is a bit of a hassle. Do yourself a favour, measure both feet, take the largest measurement, and go with whatever is closest to their measurement chart. If slap bang in the middle, size up as you can always tighten them with the toggle. Ignore the UK sizes because being made in China, Quality Control isn't always top of the agenda.

Ir helped because the beach had allot of stones. They did fill up with stones and there not good for being in water you can't swim in them it's like having weights attached to your legs but for floating around and not having your toes exposed good job

I take a size 7 uk so I ordered a size 6uk. It fit perfectly so if you are ordering then get a size smaller. I've finally managed to do some lake swimming. They stayed on great. My only criticism is the sole isn't quite thick enough. It certainly helped wearing them on a pebble beach but think I will invest in some more expensive ones as I saw lots of people wearing this type of shoe but with much thicker soles. However until I do get some more I will continue to use these as they are much better than not wearing anything 👍

Swam in a seawater pool in Cornwell and they stayed in place. Good fit and good value for money.

Good shoes. Disappointed in the fact I ordered and got sent 2 right feet. By the time I reordered I ended up paying £2 more as weren't on offer still

I bought these as I found the changing room floor of the swimming pool quite slippery. It was just as slippery with these on if not more so. Also, as my foot hit the bottom of the pool it shot from under me making my pool entry none too graceful. However, I persevered with them but found them impossible to swim in as my feet seemed to want to keep floating to the top but that is probably just me. I also wanted them to do aqua fit in but wasn't going to attempt that after my first experience. Guess I just keep them for the beach.

Ordered size 5 but were way too big so had to return and ordered the size down. Look nice - not used yet - Hopi g the do the job on hols

I’m a size 8 so ordered a size 8 and they fit well. A little bit big but I’m sure if I sized down they would have been to small. The toggle on the back helps to keep them on and I had no problem wearing them whilst standing in water or walking on a stony beach. You can feel the stones under foot but they are more comfortable than being barefoot! I washed them after use and they washed well. Prompt delivery as well
