Well made and chunky (I just need to get used to the zip)
These boot are supplied in a branded, quality looking box. You can tell that a good deal of care and consideration have been given to your first impressions of the product.Out of the box these look smart if a tad 'unusual' due to the zip front. I am used to lace up fabric / leather walking boots but these remind me of wellies, probably due to the green colour.I can tell that they are very well made, they just look 'right'. They are also lighter than you might first assume, but this lightness does not come at the expense of robustness. On my foot, these size 9 boots fit my size 8 to 9 feet very well. I have a slightly thicker pair of socks on so they feel a tad on the snug side but this is by no means a bad thing. Thinner socks will fit looser plus these are brand new and have yet to be worn in properly over miles of walking. The soles feel very comfortable indeed. Quite chunky but soft. I also love the way they give me another inch or so of height.Personally, at this time I wouldn't wear these for hiking over very rough terrain. I need to put some miles on them first to assess their ankle support and how well the zip functions. However, I will 100% be using these for walking a boisterous dog thru wet and muddy fields and woods. My initial impressions of these are very good indeed and I have no concerns as to the levels of grip, waterproofness or suitability for dog walking that these boots offer.

Sizing is a slight issue, as always.
The media could not be loaded. These boots come packaged in a sturdy box, with compressed tissue paper in each to help retain their shape, and a layer of paper to wrap them. The overall impression is excellent. When buying footwear online I have had sizes ranging from a 9 right up to an 11, and all have fitted me. It depends on the style, and manufacturer, but back in the days when I would buy at bricks and mortar shops I would usually get a 10. These are a UK 10 and are ever so slightly large when I've got thickish socks on. I can still get away with it, though. The "instructions" say that you should only zip them up halfway to allow for movement of the feet, and I imagine that if you are hiking up hills etc that advice would be correct, but walking on the flat I can zip up fully. They're comfortable and have a good grip. I would say that the style, with the front zip, may not be to everyone's taste. We haven't had any heavy rain here since they arrived, but if I find any problems with waterproofing in the future I'll come back and report.

Lovely winter boots!
Loving these so far. They look pretty cool with jeans with their big chunky soles and there is good toe protection in case you stub your foot on rocks. They have nice cushioned insoles and the grip seems good. Not really taken them out in challenging conditions yet as they look so nice clean 😂.

Boots for rough terrain
These are well made boots with a deep tread on the sole to keep you sure footed. They are waterproof and the zipper at the front of the boot has a fully enclosed tongue to ensure this extends all the way up to your ankle, even if you keep the zip partially unfastened (a design feature ensures the zip won’t move during wear so you can achieve the desired fit at the ankle). This is just as well as the boot is quite tight around the ankle when the zip is fully closed and having it partially undone creates a bit more room. The listing does not contain a size guide currently so I had to guess and chose UK7.5 (I am normally either a UK7 or 8, but always an EU41. The UK7.5 is, in this case, an EU42 and the boots feel a bit long for my foot, but are not large on the width despite my foot being relatively slim. I don’t think they would have felt comfortable if I had chosen a smaller size. The boots are comfortable to wear and are good on rough, wet terrain. Sizing is a bit smaller than I would expect for an EU42, so it may be worth choosing a size bigger than normal to get a good fit.

Brilliant trainer / welly hybrids!
My husband loves these boots. They're a cross between wellies and trainers, making them practical for dog walks. He says he'd prefer to size up half a size so they fit better with thick socks. The zips are so practical—love them!

Grippy, comfy high performance boots
These boots will come in handy for many occasions. They arrived and was everything that I had expected. First impressions, were of professional quality and workmanship. My UK shoe size is 9.5 and I should've got 10.5 or 11.My feet aren't clubby and large, and can eventually fit into these 9.5, after wrestling with the heel and side parts. It would've been most useful, if there was a heavy duty rear heel loop, to help pulling the boot up. This was bearing in mind I was wearing thin socks. If I had been wearing thicker socks, my feet wouldn't have fitted. The material outside feels nice, hard-wearing and easy to rinse and wipe down. The insoles are super comfy and supportive. So is the ankle and foot areas. Great boots with a nice front pull up zip. Walking on a variety of terrain, it certainly holds up well.Very grippy treads, which I'm most happy about. These high performance boots are definitely worth the money.
