Well designed Sonic Toothbrush. Good Brand.
Great toothbrush, does what it's supposed to do, teeth feel very clean after use. This is my second one of this model. The previous one lasted roughly seven years, before it bit the dust, just wouldn't charge in the end. But after that length of time I can't complain. The model was once again on offer on Amazon just before Christmas, so I just replaced it. If it lasts another seven years I'll be happy.

Wow! Amazingly Clean Teeth - Better Than Oral B
My very first electric toothbrush was an old Philips version but when that one died after many years use I decided to try Oral B and chose the Pro 3000. I didn’t want all the App. based rubbish, just a good electric toothbrush. I’ve been using the same Oral B for some years nowI wondered about replacing my Oral B with a newer version but decided to try Philips Sonicare againThis one has the same cleaning (62,000 strokes a minute) as their more advanced models but, again, I didn’t want/need all the fancy bits like App. based etcI immediately put it on charge and left it for a while until fully charged before trying it outWow! What an amazing clean this thing does. It definitely cleans better than the Oral B I have been using all this timeThe brush head looks like a normal manual brush only smaller whereas the Oral B uses a round head. I thought I may not get on with this new shape but because it’s a small head there was absolutely no problems whatsoeverThe only ‘smart’ thing this Philips toothbrush has is BrushSync which monitors your use and lights up the BrushSync light on the handle when it’s time to change the brush head, apart from that it has two speeds but I only use it on the highest settingAll in all I think it’s an extremely good brush and not too expensive eitherHighly recommendedUPDATE: I’ve been using this Sonicare toothbrush since I received it and it has only just flashed up that it needs a charge; so it lasted exactly one month between charges which I think is very good. It’s been an amazing product and my teeth look and feel extremely clean

Good toothbrush
I have one of these that I have had for 10 years. Bought this for my son for Christmas but the quality isn't nearly as good as my old one. I love mine though.

Whiter & cleaner teeth made enjoyable.
This was bought to replace a sonicare toothbrush that gave up after over 20 years, this new one is easy to use the brush heads are small so can clean areas better than the C1 type I was using the colour is vibrant the heads are whitening heads, it vibrates and burbles if you press to hard, the heads are easy to fit & last 3 months the base charger is simple to use. The only downside I found was that I wish I had bought it sooner because it cleans to brilliantly, it wasn't overly expensive compared to some of their range the charge lasts a while and charges up quickly, I'm over joyed with my purchase, if you want cleaner whiter teeth for longer and a simple to use system this is it the on button give 2 choices sensitive or normal brushing, it beeps when you should brush a different quarter of your mouth,I can't find a negative for this product.

Excellent quality
This has two speeds, one of which gives a deep cleanse. It came with a European plug. I rang Philips customer care and they sent a charger to my home via recorded delivery free of charge. Excellent customer service. It keeps charge for around two weeks. It came with a case which is handy for travel. This toothbrush keeps my teeth free from plaque, and tartar. My teeth are whiter since using this toothbrush twice a day. It has a timer which is really useful. Feels sturdy. I dropped it on a hard floor from head height, and no damage at all. Good value for money.

Bought for wife.
Bought one for myself and the wife wanted one aswell! Mouth feels really clean compared to a manual brush. Works great and easy time function to know when it's time to stop! Vibration levels not too harsh, battery lasts around 2-3 weeks with usage 2x a day (sometimes with additional use). Would recommend to anyone.

Sonicare was good but the Philips versions are not worth buying
[Update again] So we bought two of these again (had several). One in June 2022 and the other in May 2023. It’s Jan 24 and I’ve just sent back the newest one for replacement and as soon as we get that back, the older one is being returned. Same faults again and again on these. Two more failed just outside warranty. Philips seem to have no interest in addressing the design flaw. I can only think that at the price they charge, they can roll the dice that some will limp through to the end of the warranty and that many people will not think to claim on the warranty. A sad way to behave as a company which previously had a proud engineering heritage.Although they will exchange for this fault, this is by no means hassle free. You have to send back the handle to a UK address, but replacement is shipped from Poland. In my case UPS were a disaster zone with a lot of extra hassle. Philips send updates from a noreply email address rather than ensuring that everything is done to make this a smooth process.[Update to add that I managed to repair one of ours, but the repair didn't last long. There are a few How Tos and videos on the ‘Net. The hardest part is usually opening the handle, but that’s not too difficult once you know how. The problem is usually then just a loose screw. If you’re unlucky it could be a broken part, but replacements are available. The screw holds the tip on. Philips have used threadlock, but it seems this is not up to the job of holding it tight against the vibrations. I retightened with new threadlock. A quick job in the end, so well worth trying. So much for Philips greenwashing. They don’t make fixing these out of warranty easy or cost-effective when a) it’s their design flaw and b) it’s a criminal waste to pollute with a whole handle because of a loose screw.]Original reviewWe've had Sonicare since before Philips bought them. As a mechanical engineer myself, it's obvious that the original Sonicare design was far superior.All this in addition to brushing performance which is far less consistent (because the vibration from the handle is not effectively transferred to the head as the thing wears). Oh - and heads which just vibrate loose and fall off.Philips have them made cheaply and then send out exchanges when they inevitably break down. I had one fail just outside of warranty. After a bit of arguing, Philips kindly agreed to replace. The replacement lasted only 3 months. They replaced that and that has died a year later.Philips will either ask you to send the old one in for repair and then replace or ask you to dispose of in an environmentally friendly way. That's nonsense. There is nothing environmentally friendly about producing a product which fails so frequently (there's no realistic way these are being recycled) and replaces the original Sonicare product which would last and last.Doesn't matter if you're buying the cheapest Philips Sonicare and the stupidly expensive more-money-than-sense ones with unneeded bells and whistles. They all have the same flaw.Despite having been sold on the benefits for our teeth and gums of Sonicare years ago, we're not buying again and will try alternatives.
