This is a very nice, well put together kit. Everything fits perfect right down to the wire length. I have installed many aftermarket parts and these were by far the best instructions I have ever seen. The only downside is having to drill holes and splice wires but it's not too bad, be sure to pop the covers up on the floor inside of the door and get the harness out of the way before drilling.

I had the 3 inch stainless step tubes on my truck prior to these and after adding a six inch lift, it was quite a step up to get into the truck. These extend down a full 5 inches lower than my old static steps and makes getting in and out of the truck much easier. Made the wife happy too! I think they are priced a bit on the steep side for what they are, but still well worth it! Installation was pretty easy doing everything by myself. If you have some basic mechanical abilities, install should be a breeze. Instructions are nice and clear and easy to follow. My only issue, although minor, is that there is no manual override switch to leave them extended for the carwash as they don't get very clean otherwise.

The media could not be loaded.  My wife was having issues climbing into the truck with the Nerf bar steps that were on the truck when we purchased it. These AMP steps come down 4-1/2” lower than what was on there before. She is super happy with these steps! I love the clean look these give the truck when they are retracted! I like the LED lights. I am a little worried about how long they will stay attached using the provided double sticky tape. Now the ugly part of this. My truck is one of the last built of the ‘07 Classic models. The instructions are written for the 4 door truck/SUV, not for the extended cab. None of the locations noted in the instructions were appropriate to install the mounting blocks. Overall a great product built here in the USA! Even though they are pricey if it was not for the install difficulty on my truck I would give them 5 Stars.

Although these carry a large price tag, the steps are awesome. Plan on the majority of a day to install and I also had to remove the old steps. Overall, they work perfectly and the directions were straight forward. Curious to see how they work in the winter.

This is garbage, product arrived damaged. The Aluminum casting is so cheap it snaps off in your fingers. It arrived with hardly any packing materials, no inventory sheet or instructions. It looks like someone else's returned junk. After downloading a manual from the manufacturer, I see it is missing about 1/2 of the hardware.

My truck didn’t come with side steps, it’s 4X4 so I didn’t want to lose clearance. These are perfect! They are lit and light weight and can easily hold 2 people (for 4 door trucks). They hide perfectly so you don’t lose ground clearance when driving. And since my truck is a bit higher with the 4X4, it’s a lot easier for my grandparents to climb in.

Great steps. My wife is short. It is easy for her to get in the truck. Easy install. Looks awesome and hides away. Only complaint is the wires need to be a foot longer. But workable. Great product. Would buy it again.

Better access for my wife works well
