They look great !!!
I ordered these based off others reviews. So I figured I'd write a review about them. They look great tucked away and hidden. The look great opened up for use mode.As others mentioned, they take time to install. About 5 hours, I'm mechanically inclined and the actual install is pretty easy. Routing the wires and finding the right wire in the wiring harness takes time. Not sure about other trucks(mine is a 2015 f350) but I had multiple wires of the same color for the drivers front door. So funding the right one took about an hour. But it was worth the time and effort. They look great, they seem to be pretty strong and the surface is textured. Hopefully the last a long time.

Looks great on a Powerstroke! Should have bought them when I first got the truck.
Excellent product. I read a review of someone saying the directions were poor, couldn’t disagree more. If you can read and have basic skills you can install. I meant to order plug and play but purchased the other (my mistake not theirs) i decided to give these a try instead of using my OBDII port, it took a little while to find the correct ‘door ajar’ wires but only because there are what seems like MILLIONS of wires on a f250 crammed into the space. The instructions were detailed, the AMP wires are color coded the same and if you take your time you will find the right ones. One hint, they are basically running together or near each other and not spread out amongst all the others. If you think about how the wire harness is made and installed at the factory it would only make sense for them to be grouped together. I tapped the 4 wires with the supplied taps and PRESTO it works like a charm. They drop down instantly, way faster then you can climb in. The looks you get when folks hear and see them drop down is priceless and worth the 4 hours of install.

Overall good product.
2016 F350 Crew Cab. Everything went together pretty simple. The instructions say. White wire to tie into the passenger front door. I contacted my buddies that still work for ford and got the wiring diagrams for the door. They say the wire color for the passenger front is white. It's cream/yellow/banana pudding. It's not white. FYI. That and one of the puddle lights was wired wrong from the factory. Power had to be tied into the black wire and ground to the red to get the light to work.

installation could be termed easy but requires hours of work and patience.
These power running boards are very good quality and look terrific. However they are not easy to install they require six or seven hours of labor to install mostly in running wiring to the doors which in my case involves 4. I elected to have them installed by a local shop familiar with the installation. Unless you have the time and the patience as well as the knowledge to install them I would recommend doing so. It is well worth the cost. They look great function very very well and I receive compliments on a daily basis.

These things look amazing and work amazing I chose not to plug and play for a cleaner install witch it was just takes a little more time.

Unknown “AMP” harness in listed
These suck. No directions available I do t know how to wire them up or where to wire the up to the truck. I can’t find any information and QR code doesn’t lead anywhere. I’m so frustrated and lost.

Chip on the step bars
Found damage on steps there is a nick.I have contacted Real truck for help since Amazon offer me $70 off which fixes nothing so I nicely declined. Something got sandwiched in middle of the 2 steps some how it's in same spot on both. MY STEPS WORK GREAT BEST STEPS I HAVE EVER HAD! Just don't wont the eye sore on brand new expensive steps that are worth every penny! I will be updating my review asap!

These have been by far the best thing i could have done for this truck
I drive a 2003 Ford Excursion, 4 inch lift with 35's ( just to give you an idea of height). These have been by far the best thing i could have done for this truck. I love them! On some trucks, when they retract, you still can see them if you know what you are looking for. On mine, they completely disappear. While running boards are right up against the truck, these go down further down and come out, making it easier to access the truck. I take my Mother in law to chemo appts, and she always had a problem getting in and out. I had to carry a collapsible stool in the doorway to assit her. With these steps, that problem is gone. I also have a wife, and a 5 and 7 year old. They love them. And i like them because it makes the truck look taller and a tad more aggressive. Functionality wise, these things are a must have. The price is high, which my wife complained about. But she quickly changed her mind when i finally got them put on. Which brings me to my next point. Installation took every bit of 8 hours for me, by myself. From start to finish. And mainly it was the wire work. Routing it in the engine bay a certain way though the firewall, only to discover i should have have went to the right instead of the left of the power steering reservoir because now i am a couple inches short in the cab. And of course, i had neatly zip tied everything. So my suggestion, route all wire work, connect everything, then zip tie. I know better, but i was like "this will be easy". Just remember.....zip tie LAST. After everything is mounted, its just a matter of plugging everything in. The first time you see them function, you will be happy you bought them. Trust me. Even the lighting is cool. I mounted it under the truck so its hidden also. Small powerful LED lights that throw a blueish hue on the ground when i open the doors at night. Stop reading...just buy it cuz, come on, you wouldnt be reading this unless you were truly interested. Money well spent, everybody happy in the end.
