My son (8) loved this series. The Wild Robot series follows Roz, a robot who learns to survive in the wilderness and slowly evolves into something far more than a machine. Across the trilogy, the story expands from isolated survival to identity, society, and finally environmental responsibility. What makes the series work is how consistently it blends nature, technology, and emotion in a way that’s simple enough for younger readers but meaningful for adults too. Roz is one of those rare characters who genuinely develops in a believable, gradual way.
