Long road trip in Summer heat got WAY better with this! Plugged into back seat power and had cold beverages and snacks at the ready. Well made, worked as hoped. Highly recommend.

We purchased the Dometic because we were tired of ice anxiety with our Yeti cooler during long camping trips. The Dometic was fantastic. We filled it full of food and drinks and kept the temp at 27 degrees over 9 days with no issues. Definitely worth the investment as we were able to keep a larger variety of food AND bring home the leftovers! We ran it off of a Jackery and two solar panels. The Dometic was incredibly efficient and ran all day using only about 35% of the battery.

Efficient and reliable cooler. My second unit. First one is still working great after many years of desert camping in Arizona. Uses about .67 amp hours per hour with mid 80’s F ambient temperature. This unit is lighter than my first CFX-35 unit. The 12 volt socket on the initial unit broke when trying to remove the 12 volt cord from the fridge. The 12 volt cord was always too tight going onto the unit and when removing it the last time the socket pulled out partially. Hoping to get the 35 unit repaired, but needed a second fridge in the meantime. Think I’ll try some light silicon spray on the 12 volt plug to make it easier to unplug in the future.

So far so good 😊 it’s the perfect size for my sleeper berth it tucks away into the provided space made for a fridge. It’s super quiet and holds enough supply to last several days saving me money on ice and meal expenses during the day it’s easily placed between driver seat and passenger seat . Connecting to Bluetooth and WiFi instructions are not in the box only found on the net

Excellent Product

Didn't even bother to unbox this. All of the pictures and even the Dometic manual show the hinges on the long side. That's why I bought it. Fact is the hinges are on the short side and the lid opens lengthwise. This doesn't work in our application and I immediately returned it. Reduced to one star after I noticed that the unit had a physical defect inside the tub. Expensive junk. Have to revert to our Yeti for the road trip because of this nonsense.
