Great tools! Very functional and perfect size!

The set has some useful and not-so-useful tools. the little ones are shaped like Lucky Charms cereal but only Halloween shapes. kind of useless. now the edged tools were useful. I would guess the scoop would be useful but I didn't gut my pumpkin, I just carved an image. Not bad for my first ever!

The product did what it said. Doesnt cut like butter, but definitely is not dull. The stencils seem small if you are carving a larger pumpkin.

Sharp enough to carve pumpkin skin

I usually use kitchen knives to carve a pumpkin, but I saw this kit and was happy to try it out! No instructions were included, so I didn't know where to start. I found the video on the product page showing which tools to cut the initial top. The two tools make it easy to carve. I especially love the big spoon carving tool since I usually use a standard kitchen spoon, but it takes so much longer to do it with that. The big spoon carving tool has serrated edges to help carve out the pulp with the seeds. The pointy tool is suitable for making marks on the pumpkin. For example, when remembering how the top is aligned to fit the hole, I traced arrows at the top for each side. The kit has paper stencils, but I wanted to create a car since my son likes cars. The kit has many tools, but I am surprised it doesn't have a small serrated tool to cut out the main shape for my drawing. That would have made it easier since I was using the small crescent-like tool, but I had to apply a decent amount of force and wiggle it a bit to cut into the pumpkin. The tools felt sturdy and strong, but since they were double-sided, you had to be careful how you held them.
