Shark SteamPickUp 3-in-1 Steam Mop for Hard Floors, White SD200UK

Absolutely brilliant machine, easy to use and really cleans the floor. I must admit to being sceptical about not needing to sweep and vacuum before using, but it is absolutely brilliant at picking up both wet and dry . It heats up in seconds and is really easy to clean. It has various steam outputs which is useful for switching between surfaces. It's really light and even as a pensioner, I find it so easy to use and cuts down time not having to sweep and vac before dragging the mop out.

I purchased this after the head from my Aircraft power glide fell off! On arrival, it took less than five minutes to unbox, put it together and test clean an area. I am literally gob smacked. It is very light, very effective and cleaned my floor perfectly. I then tested cleaning the machine, and again with the help of the instruction video from Sharks website, I had it cleaned in under five minutes. This item is far more effective and much easier to use than my power glide was. As well as being much cheaper. I have two rottweilers so having a drecent steam cleaner is a must in my home. This one surpassed all my expectations. I hope it lasts longer than the power glide did.

I was cautious purchasing this as it was a little out of my budget but wanted something that steams, scrubbed. There were some reviews that said it wasn’t very good, so i was preparing for disappointment- I was wrong. It’s fabulous. Before, after a good hoover and getting the ordinary steam mop out, there are always little bits left that the usual steam mop just pushes about from one place to the next. Resulting in having to hoover again after a mop. Also the stubborn bit usually requires a scrub by hand. This little lightweight beauty does it all. Scrubs, steams, picks up the left over bits! It virtually pulls itself along so not heavy to lug around a room, has 2 lights on the front, and comes with 2 rollers. Also with a docking station for storage. The cable is nice and long. I didn’t have to pre spray the floor with detergent first it brought up beautifully. My top tip: change your roller in really dirty areas or dirty water can streak - but I do mean high dirt areas. Also in messy areas a quick hoover first but no need to make sure it’s hoovered perfectly. I’m using it on laminate floor, and I’m very happy. (might just be my age, but it’s made a grumpy middle age woman smiley ).

Feels sturdy and well made, picks up debris well, all goes into its stand tidy and is easy to use and setup, but that's about it. Biggest problem is the rubber squeegee underneath, constantly getting caught in groutlines and folding underneath itself. Didn't realise how small the roller was and how slow if rolls, meaning it'll take me twice as long as other electric mops I've had. The biggest thing though is that it doesn't clean very well at all, leaves smear marks and doesn't touch stuck on debris even after leaving it on them and trying different angles. There's a reason this is a high return item. Good luck making a decision but I wouldn't bother unless you have a small floor plan

I bought this shark steam mop because I have 6 dogs (3being huskies) & 2 cats and a 10month old baby. The whole of the downstairs of my house is hard floored so I was sick of having to manually mop my floors everyday I was also worried about the affects of using cleaning products on the floor everyday day. I have the shark pet hoover that is absolutely amazing (does have its flaws) that i use everyday so I thought this would be prefect in place of mopping after the floors have been hoovered. The steam mop feels good quailty and works very well. Although the chambers are very small that collect the debris and water and I noticed that the few stray dogs hairs it had picked up hadnt actually made it into the debris chamber they was almost just stook to the inside of the mop...I also noticed when you have filled the clean water tank and put it in place the mop seems to drip water. That being I do love that you get 2 anti bacterial scrubbers so you can take 1 of to wash and replace it with the other! The length of the cord is brilliant aswell id roughly say it's similar length to the shark hoover wires. Its also really easy to use and leaves the floors impressively dry! I think for £200 this steam mop is an excellent purchase and is great value for money it literally does all the work for you! I just wish those tanks were a little bit bigger and it was able to handle the husky hair abit better but I suppose not everyone lives with noahs ark! I personally feel I should be a product tester for sharks pet range haha! But seriously if your debating buying this product id 100% reccomend

Really good for steaming floors. So quick and easy to use and clean afterwards. No need to vacuum first. The steamer will collect any bits off the floor as you use it. Good value.

I bought this as it promises no need to hoover before mopping and to also disinfect with steam. As I have cats and I also have long hair, I thought this would be perfect and save me a lot of time. Boy was I wrong. The efficiency of this product was no better than if I had hoovered and then mopped. In fact, I feel like it would take me less time to hoover and then mop because the roller kept tracking hair everywhere so I had to keep going over the same spot multiple times for it to pick up the hair, just for it to leave a trail of hair as I went. To say I was sorely disappointed would be an understatement. Other than that, the dry and wet sections of the waste container did not keep separated like they show in the adverts. The dry section kept getting wet and making a mess even though the wet section was always fully closed and never got full. It was easy enough to clean it under the tap but I wasn’t satisfied with the mixing. The roller was fine but it seemed to work better and to pick up more if you used the mop going back instead of forwards. The cord is nice and long and I didn’t have any issues with this aspect of the product. The build quality is good, I liked that it came with its own stand and I could tuck it away in a corner. The attachments were standard, just a spare roller. There were no smells to speak of. The water tank is big enough to mostly do a mid sized floor - depends whether you have to spend 45 minutes going over the same spots or not I guess. I really wanted this to work so I tried it multiple times per week for near enough a month and I just wasn’t satisfied with it enough to keep it, especially when it costs £199, it just wasn’t value for money, so I ended up returning it for my money back. Just beware that even though it’s marketed as a 2-in-1 product with no need to hoover, in practice, this really isn’t the case for anything other than maybe cereal, so it’s good if you are prepared to hoover first and then use it as a standard steam mop, but it’s not good for pet owners where there is a lot of hair around.

We bought this after trying several other brands and other types as we moved into a new build and they put our laminate flooring down before they fully finished so it was horrible with ground in dirt, and nothing was budging it I was even on my hands and knees scrubbing so I did some leg work, but this thing WOW, it's a little beast, damn does it go for it, powerful yes, brings up the glue they dropped all over the place easy, paint they splattered gone, the mud and dirt in the floor goodbye, the steam is immensely strong, and the water tank looks small but it lasts so long we have a big area to clean fromiving room to kitchen, hallway and utility room and bathroom downstairs and it did them all in two tanks, easy to empty and clean yes, like a breeze, very good strong cord with a decent length to it , this is honestly the best thing out there of it's type and money, it sucks up all the loose debris like nothing absolutely phenomenal if your thinking about it we'll stop thinking and just buy easy as that.

Great product,perfect for every day cleaning. not for too much dirt,not to big the dirt compartment if is full rolls out dirty water strikes. for not too dirty areas perfect!! I love it
