Cheap but functional
I bought this for a working hat, so I didn't really care how it looked as long as it was leather. That being said, the leather is pretty cheap shredded leather mixed with glue. They didn't stitch it around the buckle, they just glued it, and the buckle is just one piece. However, the price is good compared to similar products, and I like that they didnt punch a hole in the leather. I can punch my own, giving it a cleaner look. Only giving three stars because of the cheap quality, but it that's your price range and you ain't bringing your hat to a business meeting or something, I'd say go for it.

A New Look
I bought this hat a long time ago. The leather hat band began to change color and appear worn over time. When I received my new leather band, it made a lot of difference in my hat appearance. It looks brand new again. This is a hat that I really like. Now, I can wear it again.

Does not make much of a statement. However, there are no holes punched in belt. I would not buy this item if I saw it in a store.

Deceptive ad and picture.
The ad and picture provided seem purposefully deceptive. Leads you to believe you are getting a hat with a one inch band. Not the band only. Should read hat band only for Panama Hat - 1 inch leather. It should not start with the words Panama Hat.
