Review: Okay okay - Quality of the book 👌 The story felt slow. There were moments I liked , but sometimes felt it dragged a bit. Review: You know how sometimes you read a book, and it actually makes you feel something, and everything feels so alive, while also making you laugh out loud? It was exactly like that. Every page lingers, and it stays with you. If you want butterflies, laughs, and depth, this one is for you. The author also has a way of describing things--voices, sounds, scents, looks, scenery--that left me in awe. ✨️Summary Aiden is the host of Heartstrings, a once-popular late-night romance hotline. But lately, he’s fallen out of love with love--and the show's numbers are suffering. Then Maya, a 12 year old, secretly calls in to ask for help with her mother’s love life. That’s how Lucie ends up on the line--reluctant, and very much live! What unfolds is an honest, unexpected conversation at night that pulls Aiden in. For the first time in a long while, he actually listens and finds meaning. The call goes viral. Suddenly, the station wants Lucie back to help her find her happily ever after--with Aiden along for the ride. Lucie is searching for magic. Aiden gave up on it long ago. But between late-night banter and slow-burning tension, something real begins to grow.💕 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 🌶🌶/5 "I like that. Thinking that I’m worth paying attention to. Something ordinary made extraordinary by the person you’re sharing it with." "She laughs, and I wish I could wrap myself in the sound. Carry it around with me for whenever I'm feeling hollow and defeated." "But there’s magic too. In between the hard work, there are perfect moments where everything lines up exactly right. What else is that, if not the universe telling me I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be? I’m right next to him, holding his hand."

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t read this book: You’ll probably end up romanticizing pineapple on pizza “𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘦.” B K Borison said this book is a love letter to love — and I bawled my eyes out reading that 😭 This is one of those stories that's gonna make you believe in love and magic again 💫✨ 𝐈 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐡𝐨𝐰 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐮𝐧 𝐚𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐮𝐩? 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐡, 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐚 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐥. 🥹 💫 The writing? Absolutely beautiful. 🔥 The chemistry between Aiden and Lucie? Incredible. 🏡 The found family? One of the best. “𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘗𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘰 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘵𝘰 𝘪𝘯 𝘍—𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘈𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘧𝘭𝘪𝘳𝘵 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘶𝘤𝘪𝘦.” The scene where Aiden confessed his love for Lucie is going to live rent-free in my head. I was blushing, kicking my feet & screaming into my pillow 😩🩷 “𝘐 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐’𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘧𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” Read the damn book, people. It’s one of the best feel-good romances out there 💖 PS: I was kidding—I still hate pineapple on pizza 😅 But good for Aiden and Lucie 💕

Aiden is a man down bad which is my absolute favourite kind of MMC. The entire premise of the book - Sleepless in Seattle-ISH, is fantastic and I was along for Lucie’s road to love. It started a bit slow for me, but there was a line that her preteen daughter says about no man ever living up to Aragorn that just absolutely tickled me and I was hooked after that. I love the gentle cadence of BK Borison’s writing and her deep dive into emotion and the feelings of her characters always gets me. Loved this one.
