This Rolls-Royce Phantom 1/24 Toy Car Model is of good quality and has a lot of detail. The only thing I wish it did not have is the Chinese writing all over the box.

There are model cars and there are toy cars... this one is both!My husband and I are both classic car enthusiasts. When I saw this Rolls-Royce phantom 1/24 size model, I was highly intrigued. Upon further inspection, when I saw that it actually had doors that open, a hood that opens, can move, has the Starlight interior roof lights and a moving moonroof, I wasn't just intrigued, I had to have it! In fact, I had to have it to play with! I surprised my husband with it because again, we both love old cars.I would call this a hands-on model car. At this price point, I feel that a collector could purchase this, while being comfortable with the knowledge that handling it is worthwhile and as valuable as looking at it. Whether you're just a big kid like me, or someone who enjoys "fidgeting" with things, this is for you! Or even if you're just a toy collector, this is also for you!This heavy duty model, as mentioned earlier, has working doors, hood, front lights, back lights, Starlight roof lights, sounds, and even moves forward by the user applying a backward motion on the wheels. Oh! And the classic Rolls-Royce hood ornament can be raised from under the hood. I can't think of anything else this needs to provide hours of fun and concentrated inspection.There are a lot of reviews with photos, and I've added a few, but I don't think any of the photos do this justice.I'm grateful that I stumbled across this item and am happy to award five stars for this well made and meticulously detailed model of the Rolls-Royce Phantom.If you won't purchase this item for yourself, remember it makes a great gift!

A toy that could be displayed. If there are complaints that this is not a quality scale replica, this is not the market to be shopping in anyway. A scale model exact replica of a Rolls could start at a minimum of $1000. An unassembled kit could be several hundred dollars. I can’t believe the price is as low as it is for this toy car. Lots of things work on it like doors, hood, trunk, sun roof, lights, fold up lighted hood ornament. It has umbrellas, door opener tool, folding mirrors, four-wheel suspension, and rear wheel pull back that allows the car to roll forward under its own power. The steering wheel even moves when the wheels are turned. The kid I gave this to was in awe. He had never seen such a fine toy and was afraid to play with it because he did not want to mess it up. He has it sitting like a display in his room. This is a great buy.

As far as a scale model replica is concerned, this is not the one to buy. But if you are a model car collector, you probably aren't buying random brands on Amazon anyway.I happened to buy this for my 4 year old to play with, knowing full well he was going to crash it into stuff. For that purpose, it is perfectly fine. Otherwise, it doesn't do well scaling parts and lettering down, the pieces are cheap and bend easily, the lighting and sounds are atrocious. Even for a kid to play with, the quality is not great, but he enjoys driving it around the tables and floor, so who would complain about that?
