After having a cervical fusion done in my neck, I found that regular pillows didn't feel good anymore. They were uncomfortable to sleep on, kept me awake, and caused horrible neck pain. I found a pillow that worked, but then it was discontinued when I needed to replace it. Saw this pillow, and hoo boy.... it's not 100% perfect but it beats regular rectangular pillows by a mile. The curved shape fits right into the area between my shoulder and neck and provides enough support that I no longer wake up with pain every day. This pillow isn't the best for back sleeping (at least for me), but since I'm mainly a side sleeper it works great. There's just enough smoosh to the latex foam that my neck muscles aren't overextended or constricted. The latex doesn't have the same give as memory foam, so it provides that extra bit of support that I find missing in memory foam pillows of this shape. There is a little bit of a natural rubber scent to this pillow, but it dissipated after leaving the pillow without a cover on it for a few days and washing the cover. There are curved pillowcases out there that might fit this pillow's particular curved shape, but a standard pillow case works fine.Please notice the fact that this pillow is made from LATEX. This is very important to be aware of in case you or someone in your home has a latex allergy. Not everyone knows they have a latex allergy until they come in contact with it, like when trying to blow up a balloon and your lips tingle and swell up. If you use this pillow and suddenly develop itchy skin, stuffy head, watery eyes, and/or trouble breathing while using, stop using this pillow immediately because latex allergies can be life threatening. There may be a fabric cover between you and the latex, but for someone with a severe latex allergy, this isn't enough. While I love this pillow and would recommend it to others who deal with neck pain from side sleeping on the wrong pillow, I want others to be safe.

I really loved it and that was first time I slept for two weeks of trialing it without waking up at night, but there was not enough filling for me. It sinks low and I asked if they provide extra filling but they don’t so I returned it. I’m really missing it. Maybe in the future you guys can make the pillow case with a zipper to stuff it more as the buyer pleases, like other pillows on the market. Would love to trial it again if that happens.

There are times I like this pillow, but it isn't the universal wonder they make it out to be. I find it too thick and too dense in the central head resting area. I'd get along with the firmness better if it were maybe 2/3's its thickness.The materials may justify the steep price, I'm not sure, but there are pillows at a fraction of the cost that I prefer over this one.

This is a very nice pillow with a comfortable, unusual design. The amount of fill seems about right and it provides good support. There's an inner part that seems to be made of cotton that holds all the latex fill pieces and that part is put into the outer case which you can remove to wash. We put a plain rectangular pillow case on it, and even though it didn't follow the shape of the pillow, it worked ok.The only complaint I really have with it is it comes with a very strong smell that is common to latex pillows. If you're sensitive to it, you will have to remove this from the outer casing - wash that - and let the inner casing air out for at least a week to dissipate some of the smell. In our case that lessened it quite a bit and if this is like other latex pillows we've had the smell will continue to dissipate over time. So one star off for that. I don't know if they can treat the latex with heat or air or something else at the factory so it comes in smelling less, but they should investigate that for this price.Other than that, great pillow.
