Great bit of kit
Good product, came with spare cap and sponge mop to clean inside. Also had air vent as when water level drops the flow gets slower so opening the vent prevents this. Use it for fresh drinking water at my caravan. Ideal for the job.

How to solve the leaking issue......
SWAP the Tap and Cap over to solve the leaking issue.... Good item but the tap will leak as supplied. We solved the leaking issue by swapping the tap to where the blank cap is. I think it is designed to go there anyway as the tap fits perpendicular at perfect angle when tipped on its side. Think some knob as put them on the wrong way around on assembly. Photo shows the correct orientation.

Doesn't leak all over the back of the car
This is the first water container I have found which doesn't leak into the car on the move. The others are fine if you can find potable water at camp but this one allows me to bring it with me

The tap is not as shown but is at an angle, but... can be swapped to the other end!!!
The tap is set at an angle, rather than square as shown on the Amazon page. Quick trawl of the web and it looks like this is how they are made now. Would have liked the square set tap, as it would make it easier to set up as a water station with a vertical spout. BUT... THE FILLER CAP AND TAP CAN BE SWAPPED END FOR END SO THE TAP CAN STILL BE VERTICAL!!!

Useful but could be so much better
Such a shame this isn't better designed! The 10L capacity is fine, it is robust and easy to carry and sits upright. The tap works well and is easy to use. HOWEVER: assuming almost everyone will use it upright, why doesn't the tap face directly down? The top filler cap should also have a small inlet valve for air as without this when you turn the tap on you also have to unscrew the filler cap to allow air it. It is fine, I'd buy again but it only gets 3 stars because it could be so much better!
