These are sturdy metal binder rings. They are not difficult to open & they close securely. They are a good price.

Served its purpose

This binder ring work fine with one major caveat. There is a little pin that lets the ring open and close. This pin protrudes a bit, somewhere around 1mm. This teeny protrusion is enough to catch some paper while turning the pages and ripping the pages a little. I have another metal binder brings that don’t have this same protrusion issue, at least not to the same extent where the pin could rip a paper. The other binder ring uses a little thicker gauge metal for the actual ring, which may be why the same size pin doesn’t protrude as much on that thicker ring. I still think these binder rings are okay but I will not use them and I will use the thicker ones with less pin protrusion, or plastic binder ring that is nearly perfectly round.

They are perfect. You get a lot for the price and the case is nice so they aren’t just loose in my drawer.

If I wanted to break the cards into smaller study sets (e.g., letters, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, planets, Dwarf planets) I really couldn’t unless I orphaned some of the other cards. So now I will be able to group my cards by topics and share only the ones I need to help my students. With past purchases, I had to buy rings loose, or received them sealed in a cellophane bag that couldn’t hold them once I opened the bag. The box is hinged and has a plastic clasp.Box measurements: 5” Wide x a little over 3.5” High x ½” - ¾” Deep. (See photos.)Opening the Box: When you **first** open the box, the clasp is taped to prevent it from popping open. Don’t break the box trying to pry the lid off the top as if they were separate pieces. The box is hinged. The lid stays on the box. These are nice binder rings. They are sturdy and seem to be well made. The price was good. I had to push hard to get them open and they seem to close tightly. They will have a lot of uses around the home. I specifically ordered them to try to make a sort of clipboard that I could use with 3-ring binder paper, so I could easily write on both the front and back of pages. I put a sturdy notebook divider, with a pocket, on both the front and back, and notebook paper in the middle. Three rings held everything together, and worked well for this purpose.

These are 1 inch binder rings as expected. Some of them are a little tight and some of them are a little loose. but all the ones that I checked connected well and tight.
