Feels more expensive than it is
I like that this pen feels very expensive but isn’t terribly. It’s heavy and writes fluidly and smoothly. The ink is very black ink and seems not to smudge. It came with replacement ink as well and I like that you can buy new ink for it as that is a nice sustainability feature for a very nice pen. It’s kind of long for a pen and has a solid click if that is important to you.

New favorite pen!
Not sure if it’s made from actual copper, but either way it’s a very visually appealing finish that feels good in the hand. The pen has a nice bet of weight to it as well helping it feel way more premium than the price suggests. Sure it writes well, but the point of this pen is the finish. And to that, it’s worth it.

Nice, and Functional
This is a Sharpie S-Gel pen. As with ALL OTHER BIRO PENS, how it writes depends 95% on the refill's characteristics (type of ink [oil or water based], viscosity, temperature, and ability of the ball to transport the ink from the refill to the paper), and 5% on the surface you're writing on (the glossier and smoother the paper, the less likely you are to get a smooth line of ink). The Sharpie S-Gel pen is no exception to that rule. The real attraction to this pen is in the body/housing of the pen, which appears to be made with copper, or something that resembles copper. Metallic, probably, with a copper appearance, but covered with a coating that prevents the natural oxidation and patina you get with unprotected copper. This makes the pen's body more durable, letting you replace the refill once it's depleted rather than sending the whole pen to the landfill. The standard "BK" refill is very smooth, the ink is vibrant and and color saturated, and dries very quickly. The shape of the pen is virtually identical to the regular plastic pen, except for the grip piece. The regular plastic version has a soft rubber covering the grip section, this pen has hard copper colored metal on the grip section. The spiral grooves, similar to the plastic version, are not sharp, and provide better grip of the pen, even with sightly oily or damp fingers. Chances are you won't accidentally forget where you put this pen, because it looks way more valuable than the plastic version, even though it writes the same, and the plastic version may feel more comfortable for some (due to the rubbery grip section). It's your choice, but my choice is for the copper version over the plastic version. Write on!

Beautiful pen
This is the nicest pen I’ve had, I love it! Beautiful copper color, writes very smooth and doesn’t smudge. Comes with an extra ink refill. The weight took a bit of getting used to since I’ve always had the lightweight, less quality pens. But after using it just a few minutes, it felt great. Feels and looks much more expensive than the price. Wish they had other metal colors, I’d buy every one.

Nice weight and perfect ink flow!
Oh my word I LOVE this pen! I purchased five of them for Mother’s Day gifts, along with some journals, and it feels weighty (good quality) and writes so smooth, like the lesser expensive S-Gel pens you get from the store. This is worth the upgrade, it comes with a refill, and it makes journaling even more enjoyable!

Bought as a gift, considered getting one (or keeping this one) for myself!
I bought this pen as a gift as I thought it looked quite nice and I know the recipient loves how the Sharpie gel pens write. Personally I think it's just a bit too shiny for me and I'm also not a fan of the grip (texture, feel, look, and it doesn't offer me that secure of a hold). However, when I first held the pen for a little bit and wrote with it I was surprised with the things that pleased me: 1. The love the weight of it. It's more than twice the weight of a regular Sharpie S Gel pen. The copper version weighs around 28.56g, while the regular version is roughly 11.09g. It's obviously not heavy enough to be a burden or bother my bad wrist after a decent amount of writing, so that's great for me. 2. Despite me not liking the feel of it when it comes to the grip, the smoothness and cold it attracts because of the material is very enjoyable to me. I often fidget with pens, as we most do, and it's nice to feel the cool, smooth body of the pen. 3. I know this is more of the ink than the pen itself, but writing with it is very enjoyable. The combination of the first two pluses combined with the smooth writing of the gel ink leaves me really happy while writing - and you all know how important that is. One thing I like doing is modding pens - whether it's the refills for it or the actual pen itself. If I can make a pen better for me then I'm going to do it. While I had both pens out to weight them I realized I could swap out the grips - so I did just that (see pictures)! While the grip feels a lot better to me, the look does not. If I could only swap the rubber grip and not the tip it would be almost perfect! However, the tip is not screwed on so you'd have to keep the black rubber grip and the tip. I'd already be on the fence from going copper - black - copper. But shiny copper transitioning to black rubber and then plastic tip just isn't my thing. Also a **WARNING** - if you do try this I'd highly suggest you don't attach the rubber grip very tight. I screwed it on the all the way and it was stuck quite a bit and I spent quite a bit of time trying to unscrew it. So unless you REALLY like the way it looks and are willing to possibly struggle with opening it back up to replace the ink when needed, at least do so with caution. Overall this is a pretty great pen - something I totally was not expecting to be thinking. And although I really enjoy it for the most part I don't think I'll end up adding it to my growing collection of pens. My collection is way too big as it is, so I think I'll just continue getting some of these for gifts!

The BEST GEL Pen I have EVER used!
Pen arrived on time and with great nice packaging. My first impressions of the pen: 1- The pen is HIGHLY shiny and looks amazing. This piece will have EVERYONE looking at it and asking about it. There is NO way to use this pen and not get asked about, it is an attention grabber. 2- The pen itself is very sturdy, it feels great on the hand, very solid, it is heavier than others of course but you can tell right away that this pen is going to outlast 99% of your other pens in the drawer for sure, that is unless someone snatches it. 3- The ink flows really nice! The ink is consistent, there are no empty marks when you write, like you get from using a cheap ball-point pen. You can draw a straight, long line and it will look absolutely consistent. Writing with it feels like a new experience for me and i now look forward to using it at the office. This pen is remarkable, it works as described, a little on the pricey side, but trust me when I say this: It is WORTH IT- you get what you pay for in this case, and they also throw in a spare ink refill since they know your going to be using it a lot. In the end, This is going to be my main daily driver and I will NOT hesitate to buy another as a secondary one just to have, or If I want for someone to experience what I get from using it, I can gift another one to someone. -Henry

Perfection!
This is a hefty clicker pen. The copper cladding is very pretty. The ink flows really well and consistently, and it's incredibly smooth to write with. I will be ordering this pen again.
