I built a toy box (36" W x 15.5" D x 16.5" H) for my 9 year old Grandson, I was looking for an alternative to keeping track of RFID cards or fobs. This remote fingerprint lock worked out perfect without drilling any additional holes. The remote finger scan does not even have to mount to the box. A sticky back holder for the remote means it can be mounted anywhere in the room. With new batteries, I tested it from 30 ft away and worked perfect. Installation was easy. There is no mounting template but does have the two sided tape. This lock also has a couple backup measures in-case the batteries weaken. I'll be using this lock for more projects in the future. A bit pricey @ $30 bucks, but worth it for the remote finger scan.

Installation was straightforward. Only took me a few minutes. I found this lock to be reliable and provide the security I need. The fingerprint sensor is quick and accurate, making it very user-friendly. It’s a great quality product and is going to work very well on our wine fridge. I wanted one for when our grandchildren spend the night with us. Most of them are teenagers now and I remember what we were like back then so it’s a safeguard. This lock is a solid choice for anyone looking for security and ease of access.

Not very reliable. Installed it and worked well until it did not after 4 months of use. New batteries were installed and the lock stopped working. Seems the locking pin is stuck in the open position and will not retract even with new batteries.

As long as you follow the directions it's actually isn't that hard to set up. It took me maybe 15-20 minutes to get everything right. The lock itself is pretty strong even if you pull and jiggle on the drawer, it doesn't pop loose. The fingerprint scanner is pretty sensitive so make sure your fingers aren't dirty before you use one for a lock key. The standby time on the battery is great I've only charged it once in well over a week so far. I think The overall design is pretty cool. Definitely something neat to have if you like techy things.

I recently made a concealed gun box and needed a finger lock to lock it up and that is why I purchased this item. Under normal condition the lock I'm sure would work good. I first screwed the lock on the top of the box with the plunger in it. I screwed the latch on the bottom of the box that had some weight in it. Because of the weight the box when closed would not open without me pushing the bottom and the lid together so the plunger would pull back into the lock, I noticed that it doesn't take much to hole the plunger when the lock is activated and I think that is why it doesn't work the way I'm using it.

This lock provides an outstanding upgrade to a lock box that I have recently built. I swapped out the key lock for this fingerprint scanner and I've never been more impressed. The lock is great quality and provides an much needed service of security. It's very easy to install with simple functionality. I can't wait to see how this lock will hold up over time.

I'm so impressed with this lock. I installed it on my night stand drawer to keep my kids from finding any not so kid-friendly items. Typical baby proofing no longer works with my 7-year-old so I needed something more sophisticated. It works great, and I love that the fingerprint reader can be removed and put somewhere else so my toddler can't even try to mess with it. The lock seems like very good quality and it works very well. I've had it installed for about a month and haven't had to charge the batteries. It's was super easy to install and easy to use. Highly recommended!

This little lock is very handy and easy to install ,finger print works great ,gives me peace of mind knowing the important documents are safe and out of reach from children.

I put this on my side table drawer to keep my toddler out and it works perfectly. I love that I can even remove the remote so he can't play with it at all. Highly recommend this product.
