It's true that the cameras on smart phones keep getting better. But it's also true that there are inherent limitations in that form factor. If you want to get closer to the action, there is just no substitute for the zoom you get on a camcorder like this. Whether it's your kids at a soccer game or wildlife on an outing, this camcorder let's you get closer to the action. Resolution is great, display is bright, and it's super easy to use. One trick to know is that it has two modes, on for still and one for video. So if you've been taking pictures (using the top button) and you click video recording (using the back button) the display will say "please wait" for a second. Click again and it will say "Starting recording". That's it. Just point and shoot. Couldn't be simpler to use. Zoom toggle is perfectly placed under your index finger. Super compact, fits in the palm of your hand. Comes with a nice boom mic and protective soft case. Definitely would recommend this camera/camcorder...don't miss the action!

My daughter has loved using this to capture memories and no longer has to reply on phone memory storage to take videos. The quality has been great both for picture and sound. It’s compact and easy to hold.

This camera, the OLESIT 8K 64MP VIDEO CAMERA sucks! I have never had a digital camera, since the they became popular in the 1990's, that DID NOT LET YOU DOWNLOAD your pictures with a camera interface cord that was included. With this camera it does not. I say a CORD not a card. There is a cord to charge the camera, as usual, but it does not interface your data. Also, while trying it out, it just stopped working. You open it to start it and it stopped working. Dead when you open it. Out of frustration I gave it a a rap on the table and it started up. Next, time even that didn't work. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

It looks like a very nice camera. The menu system is easy to use and the camera operation is as easy as any other camcorder I've ever had. However, other than looking nice and being easy to use, it's not a very good camera. It's these factors that stopped this being a 1-star review. The biggest issue is that lack of any kind of focussing capability. For any camera, regardless of cost or type of camera, one essential capability is the ability to focus on the subject of the picture or recording. This camera has no such capability... at least... not that I could find. I checked all the menus I could look into, I checked the camera physically, I checked the documentation... there was nothing I could find that allowed me to focus the camera. I know you only get what you pay for, but you'd like to think that this would be a fundamental capability for a camera to have. Overall, I'm totally unimpressed with this camera and would suggest looking elsewhere for a better product. The video shows the difference between this camera and my old Sony Handycam, which is more than 15 years old. UPDATE: I've just spoken with someone who knows about cameras/camcorders. All these cheap, nice looking, camcorders are basic Web cams with added features, bundled up into a camcorder case. If you're looking for a proper camcorder you'll be looking for a well known brand name such as Canon, Sony, or Panasonic. You'll also be looking at a price tag upwards of £600. If you want a proper camcorder, don't bother with these cheap web cam mock ups! They aren't worth it, plus you'd get better videos on your phone.

Voici ma nouvelle caméra d'appoint. Elle est destinée à compléter la prise de vue de mes vidéos Youtube. Il est en effet utile d'avoir un deuxième angle de vue pour varier et dynamiser l'image au montage. Pour cela, elle s'avère parfaite avec une qualité d'image comparable à celle de mon DSL Nikon. En plus, elle est légère et très simple à manipuler pour un usage touristique ou en famille. Donc j'en suis très content.

No la recomiendo, pésima resolución, el audio de muy mala calidad y la cámara que compré se resetea y el video se corta cada determinado tiempo. No la vuelvo a comprar
