## Description

The MTGM900 adds the ability to connect with the radio transmitter in China to update the watchs' time & date in addition to adding an additional 18 cities added to the world time mode, for a total of 48-cities. The watch’s' time memo function has been replaced with a countdown timer. Silver stainless steel band digital watch with neutral face. Module: 3406 Multi-Band Atomic Timekeeping (US, UK, Germany, Japan, China) Receives time calibration radio signals which keep the displayed time accurate Auto receive function (up to 6 times per day/up to 5 times per day for China)

Review: Excellent old school G-Shock - I had my eye on this one after I regrettably sold my similarly designed G510 last year. I owned that watch for nearly 20 years and it never missed a beat. Apparently this MTG has also been in production for 20 years but had a refresh with a newer module about 7 years ago. It's a fairly chunky watch at 46mm across and 16mm thick but these stainless steel bracelet versions wear small and are so comfortable on wrist. Some great features with multiband 6 and tough solar plus a clean display with large numbers and the usual stopwatch, timer alarms etc. The links between the case and bracelet look a bit mismatched in photos but are okay in the flesh. Most people like the squares but for me this is much better watch with the same features as a gw5610 and cheaper as well. One bad point. This model doesn't appear to have ever been released in the UK so desertcart US was the only option. For some reason budget Gshocks in the US come in flimsy cardboard boxes and it was shipped in a plastic bag for the 4000 mile trip. Unsurprisingly it arrived a bit battered but better than others I've had. Fortunately it's a gshock so can withstand abuse but I would be hesitant to order a conventional watch from the US. Overall this is a great digital watch that comes highly recommended. I'm not sure how much longer these will be produced so grab one while you can.

**Q: The watch seems to take ages to charge we have had it sitting at a window but not much sunlight coming in. Is there another way to charge thanks**
A: There's no way of charging the watch other than via light. One thing I noticed was if I switched the watch to automatically activating the light it ran down the power very quickly. So I switched this option off. The power level has stayed the same ever since. So if you have this switched on, take it off and it'll run normally. Hope this helps.

**Q: Can you still get the black version in the uk**
A: Sorry, I can't answer that.  I was particularly looking for the model with the stainless steel bracelet.

**Q: I can’t seem to set the time or anything else can anyone help.**
A: Press and hold the button at the top left (labeled "A" in the manual). After a few seconds, the setting that is being set starts to blink in the display. Use button "B" (bottom left) to move to different settings, such as year, month, day, hour, minutes (among other things such as daylight savings or time zone). When a setting is blinking, use buttons "C" and "D" (the two on the right) to change the value up or down. When all is set, press "A" again to return to timekeeping mode.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ G-Shock quality product

This meets my need for a every day watch I like to wear my watch all day and night, so it needs to be well built and robust. Setup is easy, just set city and place on window to get full charge and it will set time automatically over night. Positive LED display easy to read even without my glasses. After be a day I set the auto light. Takes no time to get the hang of reading the display without the auto light coming on and to come on in the dark when you bring you arm all the way up to your face. I plan on treating my self to getting a top of the range G-Shock in a year or two, I hope to have this as my Evey day watch until then and will probably still continue to use it after I get my upgrade Straps a good size, I had to take off 3 links to fit. Only negative for me date is month date format. MM-DD Buttons easy to use and are sunk in to case to protect it. Glass face also sunk int case for added protection. Don't think they are in production anymore, but being solor powered, this is an ideal second watch the will always be ready to use as long as it's keep in the light.
