Dog Cage Crate - Heavy Duty Strong Metal Kennel Playpen for Large Dogs with Four Wheels

My 40 lbs German Shepherd mix has chewed, flipped, and broken thru multiple cages. She's gotten out of metal and plastic cages then proceeds (by The Roots) to destroy everything in my house. This cage came with one of it's latches broken and I'm still giving it 5 stars because even with only the one latch it still has been the only cage to contain my dog.

The product looks sturdy enough but it is not what I ordered. I ordered the 38" dog crate. The crate is only 37.5 when measured from the outside inside it is only 35.5", all measurements are half and inch off. The door is also different then the one that is pictured. There is no smaller door for food and water options. the side door is just one solid piece. I can only assume that the door is different because it is the smaller crate and that the larger crate is the only one pictured. The smaller connections on the bottom appear to be very flimsy as well. They are connected by a nut and bolt that is smaller than 8mm. I wanted to tighten them but that is the smallest crescent wrench that I have. I will attach a photo. I realize that half an inch doesn't seem like a big deal, but my dog freaks out when placed in crates that he can move around in. I have to get it as close to his size as possible, just big enough to fit food and water. As he is only in the crate for a max of two hours the vet recommended just enough space for him to lay down, so he wouldn't hurt himself. When measuring this close half an inch can make a difference. I took a picture of the front of the crate with bowls inside. This way the door can be seen and space inside the crate.

It has the potential to be a really good cage, but my dog is a professional escape artist and while taking it out of the box, I noticed where the latches are, the pieces are sharp and was concerned that my dog will cut himself if he tries putting his paws through. He has damaged many "crates" in the past. I will say that when I informed the company about this concern, they responded quickly and said they will look into it. Was happy with their response and return policy.Just something to consider if your dog is rough with crates/cages.

Product would have been great if all the welding wasn’t cracked. It’s pretty useless at this point since it can’t support any weight. Contacted the seller and will update on situation.

There was a few bad welds at the back of the kennel where it was meant to fold down for storage. These welds eventually came undone allowing my dog to get out. Other than that, the kennel held up well. The seller stood by their product and offered a satisfactory solution.

this crate is a solid beast. My amstaff destroyed the wire one we had. He hasnt even tried this one that i can notice and as a bonus he seems to love it in there.

The crate seems very sturdy and fairly simple to put together, despite the poor instructions. The tray is below where our dog stays, which I like because it keeps him from trying to eat it, but it is not metal, it is plastic. The crate came damaged. The latch on the door, which looks as though it could injure a more freaked out dog's nose, was damaged and needed repaired. The warranty that is supposed to come with the crate is no where to be found, or it would've been sent back. The latches seem very cheap and will either need removed or modified to work. For the money, I'm very disappointed.

The kennel is sturdy and the wheels move easily. I like how the plastic tray is removable from outside the kennel and sits lower in the event our puppy pees he’s not sitting in it after.The downsides:One of the locks came broken, so we’ve used zip ties instead of going through the hassle of return this large cage.Just last night we washed the entire kennel down and afterwards started noticing rusting dripping/stains on our floor that were coming from the kennel.
