Best chocolate in the world. period if you are a licorice lover that is. Every flavor is beyond addicting. There is particularly attention to detail and the texture of the crackle surface leads to a wonderful surprise. Considering it's Fairtrade and ethically sourced, I think the candy is great value for money.

I had never heard of licorice with chocolate before, then I started reading about these about a year ago. The first thing I bought was the variety boxes that are put out for Christmas. First of all, they make a beautiful presentation in the gift boxes – I did give one as a gift too. Now, on to the flavors, the first one I tried I thought “huh…that is kind of different”, then I tried a second one and I thought “I think I kinda like these”! After the third, I became totally hooked on this unusual (for the US) treat! My favorite flavor is the raspberry, followed by the lemon. But that’s just personal taste – they are all good.

All the flavors are delicious! Good quality black licorice- not too soft or too hard. I prefer the lemon but this isn't bad

I've purchased many Lakrids by Bulow coated licorices and have enjoyed every flavor I have tried. I found a go-to treat I planned to order frequently, and I was experimenting with the few flavors I had not tried. The raspberry flavor was disgusting. I'm unsure whether I got a bad batch or the flavor is always unpleasant. Unfortunately, I'm stuck with a large, expensive jar of them because they will not accept returns. What a disappointment for such an expensive treat. I'll throw them away rather than subject any guest to this flavor. They say they are non-returnable because they are perishable. They did not arrive refrigerated and do not require any refrigeration, so I'm unsure why they are considered perishable. I understand that they can't resell anything returned as a food product, but it seems to me that they are using the perishable content label to prevent legitimate returns. I will re-evaluate additional orders now, given their no-return policy.

Weeeeeird. When you eat them all at once, they're alright, but the salty licorice in the middle is definitely a cultural thing and not for me. It's not terrible, just not what I'd expect from licorice. And, like I said, if you chew the whole thing at once, the coating kind of combined with the licorice and makes the whole candy work.

Good chocolate but not what expected

I bought some of these when on holiday in Iceland - so delicious. I was really pleased to find them available on Amazon. A little pricey but great as a treat. They’re really more ish so had to try and stop myself eating them in one go !!

Bought as a Christmas gift for a family member, these are sold in John Lewis so I was pleased I could buy them for the same price on Amazon to save a journey to my nearest store. They taste delicious - a crunchy chocolatey shell filled with a very tasty liquorice gummy. Worth the money!

Alles gut und auch ansehnlich verpackt. Geschmacklich durch nichts zu toppen. Leider durch den Preis mit einem leichten Beigeschmack behaftet.
