A fun and simple build that can be challenging at times but more straightforward than other sets.
This is a great little set thats a little difficult cause it has a lot of small pieces that you wanna line up if you want the end result to look better. I’ve done a few micro brick sets and this was one of the easier ones to complete simply cause it has better instructions than other sets that have you build layers this one has you build in sections so its a little easier to follow along. Unfortunately like most micro brick sets the pieces come all mixed in bags that are separated into two stages, the first uses like 3 bags and builds mostly the outside courtyard and the base of the building. The second stage uses 3-4 bags and builds the rest of the tower and the trees. If you want to make things easier sorting everything helps but takes a little longer. Overall the build took about 10 hours total but i did it in short sessions of about an 1-2 hours with breaks and spread throughout the week. You wanna take your time and make sure to double check before moving to the next step, its really easy to make a mistake and have it ruin the integrity of the tower. It starts off pretty flimsy but once you finish the first roof it gets much more sturdy and your able to handle it without much worry, but you still wanna be careful when placing down pieces you dont wanna smash the whole thing before its finished. Its also easy to separate the tower from the base when you get near the top levels, this happened to me and it took maybe like 20 minutes to get it back on without breaking anything. While i didnt intend to separate them it did make building the last couple of layers easier. Probably the hardest part about this is that it uses a of small 1x1 piece that need to aligned if you want it to look nice, because im ocd this part was not only hard but took me the longest. Overall tho i must say this is probably one of the more simpler builds and it was also enjoyable watching the tower grown from the ground up, it really does look incredible once built the architecture of the building is really fascinating and i find myself staring at it a lot. The one thing this set was missing was lights which is a shame, most other kits come with lights and at a similar price point but might be a bit more difficult than this one to actually complete. I had no missing pieces and was left with hand full of spares. I would only recommend these sets if you have patience and want something to do in your free time, enjoy the journey and try not think or obsess over the destination. It really is a nice piece that would look good as a small display on a shelf, coffee table, or desk. The age on the box says 9+ but i think this isn’t really for kids.

Mini is Good Too!
This is a mini size block set and you will need tools! It takes longer to assemble because the blocks and such are very tiny so harder to align. Having explained that about the size it can be a blessing when you are displaying the finished item. The colors are beautiful and edged with gold which adds the royalty touch. The basic theme is cherry blossoms gardens but there are other flowers as well! In my Pic you will notice I have added a few extra geisha girls. On the very smallest pieces ( but not the flowers) I did have to use glue after reattaching so many times however I did not feel it was a bad thing. The instructions were fine and I studied them before starting which helped. Some of the pieces have extras and some are down to the exact number needed. Be careful to store them carefully as you work.I found it helpful to separate by color before starting assembly. The end result was very pretty and worth the effort! If you are used to working with regular size legos this mini type is something different for a change. I would not try mini size before regular size tho.In summary I definitely reccomend this set! Have fun!

Easy instructions fun build
This was very fun to put together but a little frustrating at times. When it says micro blocks it means it. The instructions were very good easy to follow. It goes like a 3-d printer for the most part building layer after layer. Once you complétate that part it goes around in sections to complete the trees and flowers. I will say when I was putting the water wheel together the bigger it got it would come apart. It comes off really easy and goes back in really easy. When I would come to the next part of it, I would just take it off so I could hold it together. My only other issue was the first tree. If you have the green parts that go on the other green parts with the flowers put those together first then put those on the tree. I would also recommend to keep a pair of tweezers handy..to press some parts down on the trees my fingers wouldn’t fit so I used the flat top part to press it down. My last recommendation is open all the bags I didn’t find the tool that breaks up the blocks when stuck together it was in the last bag I had opened. Could have used that but tweezers did it too. Overall very fun and it is very pretty..my child did put a figure in the top part ..it does not come with that lol built it for her

Challenging and awesome
Tough, which is what I wanted. Really pretty when completed. My only complaint is that the lanterns will need super glue to stay in place. It’s a bit heavy for one connection.Would recommend if you have good eyesight and patience. May be difficult for children.

Best Micromini set I've put together so far. Beautiful!
Buy this! I love the micromini sets. This is made so well. It was so much fun to put together. It is made really well and is beautiful. The flowers are a lot but so so satisfying when it's done. Don't worry about missing pieces because you will have plenty left over. The price is great you get your money's worth plus some. *Note* This is a MICROMINI set.
