What Hasn't Changed: Exceptional Hardware The build quality remains outstanding after nine months of daily use. The aluminum top plate still exhibits zero flex, the doubleshot ABS keycaps show no shine or wear despite hundreds of hours of gaming and typing, and the pre-lubed stabilizers remain smooth and rattle-free. The magnetic wrist rest is still plush and comfortable, and the textured volume wheel feels premium every time I adjust audio. The hot-swap sockets have been reliable—I haven't needed to swap switches yet, but the option is reassuring. The typing experience continues to impress. Whether I'm writing code, gaming through intense Call of Duty sessions, or typing long documents, the Orange Tactile switches (in my case) deliver consistent, satisfying feedback. This keyboard still feels as solid as custom boards costing significantly more. What Has Changed: Synapse Software Improvements Here's the big update: Razer has substantially improved Synapse through multiple updates over these nine months. The command wheel now reliably controls what it's assigned to—no more random zoom behavior. The F1-F12 function keys work consistently. Volume control actually controls volume. These seem like basic expectations, and they now work as intended. The software still has one minor quirk: about once a week, I need to toggle the keyboard's power to resync RGB lighting across my Razer ecosystem (I also have the Basilisk V3 Pro mouse and Mouse Dock Pro). It's a 5-second fix, not the dealbreaker the original bugs were. I'm planning to integrate everything with my upcoming Philips Hue bridge for unified home lighting. Long-Term Durability After nine months of heavy use across gaming, work, and everything in between, this keyboard shows zero signs of degradation. No key wobble, no stabilizer rattle developing, no wireless connectivity issues, and battery life remains excellent. The wireless performance is flawless—no lag, no dropped inputs. I'll get this out of the way now. You pay a premium for this keyboard, and the display is definitely an unnecessary component that adds to the price. With all that being said, I love it. I had the huntsman for a while with the optical analog switches and never really found myself enabling the analog features. So going back to regular mechanical switches felt like coming home. The "thick" of these switches sound great. The size is great for giving me more room to maneuver my mouse when gaming. It feels premium all around and I absolutely love it. Be careful with complex lighting setups through Razer Chroma. I was using some of the AI effects and it actually started to use up too many resources and impact performance in some games. It took me a while to realize that's what it was. Razer's software has too many issues like that Like, don't even offer a lighting option if it's going to negatively impact the performance of my PC, you're basically malware at that point, but the keyboard itself is fantastic as far as I'm concerned.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% Wireless is definitely a good and well-built keyboard. The compact 75% layout saves desk space without sacrificing essential keys, and the build quality feels solid and premium. The switches are smooth and responsive, perfect for both gaming and fast typing. Wireless performance is excellent, with low latency, a stable connection, and goodbattery life. The RGB lighting is bright and customizable, and the included wrist rest adds real comfort for long sessions. Keep in mind that the brightness of keys and OLED will impact battery life, stick to 40% of OLED, and have to go inactive as required. I'm getting about 2 to 3 days on a single charge, depending on usage of keyboard. Also, you should probably set up profiles for standard vs gaming usage, as the 4k polling will drain battery and should only be used for gaming to save battery. If you want a high‑end wireless mechanical keyboard that delivers performance, style, and reliability, this one is a winner. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am struggling with the OLED and the backlight once the keyboard goes into sleep mode. They don't always return, and sometimes require a toggle between connection types to enable them again. Not a show-stopper and could definitely be related to my software options setup.

Worked great for first 2-3 months I had it (just long enough to void the return period. Then the media wheel just randomly stopped working (it never left my desk, never dropped or anything). Avoid this whole company at all costs!

The keyboard itself is not bad, but the charging is very unreliable. Sometimes I could not even get the keyboard to charge at all. I tried multiple troubleshooting steps, including reinstalling Synapse 4, removing the device from Windows Device Manager, and using a simple charger instead of my usual setup. None of these seemed to fix the issue or identify the root cause. I ended up returning it. Overall, I’m disappointed because the keyboard has good potential, but the charging reliability made it hard to trust as a daily-use product.

Very pricey keyboard, but worth every penny. Synapse 4 still has software issues and I experience the odd random problem but honestly hasn't been as bad as it was in the past with Synapse 3. Typing works great. I've upgraded the switches inside to baby kangaroos and they feel and sound amazing on this board. RGB lights are bright and super customizable. If you're on the fence about buying this thing... Do it.... Do itttt...

Amazing keyboard, I've had it for over 4 months now and if you want me to be honest, I have yet to use a bad razer product. Everything in my setup is razer, and its just phenomenal.

I don't even care if the keyboard is the best on the market, the software that it uses is absolute garbage. This keyboard is not compatible with Synapse 3, so you have to use Synapse 4, which is beyond bad. Synapse 4 does not seem to want to detect ANY of my devices besides this keyboard. All of the reviewers that you see online don't seem to ever talk about what hot garbage Razer Synapse 4 is, trust me, it's terrible. The only workaround I found was to install Synapse 3 so that it can recognize most of your Razer devices, and then install Synapse 4 on top of it and it seems to work. However, Razer had the brilliant idea of not letting you have Synapse 3 and 4 installed at the same time. This keyboard is also not worth the hassle. As a bonus, one of my keys started double tapping, so that's still an issue.

Après quelques mois d'utilisation, j'ai acheté ce modèle car le Blackwidow V4 Pro j'avais des problème de double-touche, aucun problème avec celui-ci pour le moment. Seul défaut est la batterie en mode sans fil, ne dure vraiment pas longtemps, mais je n'avais pas vraiment dattente a ce sujet car il est branché en permanence pour moi. Si vous pensez seulement l'utiliser sans fil, vous devrez selon moi éteindre toute les lumières pour avoir une autonomie décente.
