Like other posts, I don’t like taking time to write reviews. However, I received an email from Netgear that my router was too old to take anymore updates. Since I prefer NETGEAR, I went online to AMAZON to purchase a router. I decided the (RS200) would easily serve my needs. (My wife and I are old retirees). Amazon had a note that router may be less at other venders. I clicked on and found AMAZON store describing one like new. I ordered half the price and it arrived in mint condition. Set up was fairly easy. It is easier if you have an iPad and iPhone close by. The biggest problem was finding old passwords to reconnect thermostats, Roku sticks, Apple streaming devices. Too, if you have RING cameras. they have to be removed and reset. I got very little help from RING. One was understanding foreign language, other was English speaking that did not have any idea what to do, and lastly is the garage door opener. The NETGEAR has only been installed (3) days, but so far it’s performing very well, and speed has improved.

Great product, easy set up . 2.5gb wan and lan is perfect for home use . The apperance is great and looks good in the room.

It's fully compatible with the latest WiFi 7 (both bands). I replaced the router that I got from my cable company, which was nothing but trouble and it had to be rebooted every week or so. The Netgear RS200 is a dream. Easy to setup and is fully compatible with everything I own. I paired it with a Nighthawk EAX80 Wi-Fi 6 Mesh Extender. It has a 100% up time and works well. I have a complicated network and it handled everything I could throw at it. I'm a happy camper...

The app kept freezing up causing me to start the install process over and over again until I finally just went to the website, set up my acct and set it up then the app worked fine. I like that it's security actually checks the Wi-Fi units for safety connections and has already blocked two suspicious IPS trying to connect to my cameras. I also like that it says it holds up to 80 Wi-Fi units I have 49 connected without any issue. I have a 4,000 sqft house with no connection issues.

This is a beast of a router! It seriously blew everything else I used for the last few decades right out of the water. It does require some basic knowledge to properly install. I have 40 years of experience with IT and even I had to scratch my head once or twice, but it was well worth it. My Samsung S25 Ultra goes to WiFi7 and simply downloads everything with maximum speed. My desktop is connected through Ethernet (cat 6e) and it has no issues. Beautiful! Control level is also great - you can use app to see who is connected at any given time. I use just basic functions, but you can control this easily from your phone.

Super fast awesome router!

Easy to setup. Type in the password in the phone, ipad, or computer. Password is on the label on the wifi unit. Some difficulty setting up the ring doorbell to chime. However, I think that is a doorbell problem.

Overall, a good router. One of the only electronic things I ever bought that actually worked out of the box. Installation and setup was very easy with the Nighthawk app from my Android tablet. I have not had to access the router as administrator, it actually worked fine, first time. I have a 1 Gbit service and I get that speed up and down. Fantastice coverage, I get good service in my backyard, garage, basement and driveway. A couple of small things prevented 5 stars -- first, if my internet service winks out for some reason, the router will not auto-recover, must be powered down for hard reset and second, if internet is out for any reason, the router will not work within our household AND I cannot access as admin either by Nighthawk app or via the common "192.168.1.1" or Netgear's "routerlogin.net".
