I live and fish in southwestern Oregon. Fall, winter, and spring have limited my fishing in years past due to rain and cold, neither of which I tolerate as easily as I did when I was younger. Last year I rigged up a propane heater for use in the “cabin” of my boat (pictured). I found an old used propane heater (pictured) that I would guess is putting out about 3000 BTU on the highest setting. I still found I had to cup my hands around the heater element to get warmed up. I subsequently ordered this Buyplus propane heater which has three heat settings (11000/13000/15000). Even though it has to be match/lighter-lit, the process is easy via an access hole in the shield. There is a nice tip-over safety valve that provides an extra level of security. I should also mention this product includes a well written set of instructions for use and maintenance of the unit. For the purpose of this review, I had to test the unit in my 80+ degree garage in September. Nevertheless, I was utterly stunned by how quickly I was bathed in scorching heat on the highest setting. I then reduced the output to the lowest setting and I was still being bathed in heat. I cannot wait to use this on the boat this fall and winter. This is extra important for my wife who wants to be toasty-warm if we’re going fishing or crabbing in cruddy weather. The price point is very fair and in line with, or better than, heaters that put out similar BTU’s. Five stars!

This is handy and keeps my back porch warmer than my little space heater by far.Haven’t used enough to see how efficient it is with propane but it’s been nice and looking forward to staying warmer in the colder months ahead.

I am a big fan of propane tank heaters vs campfire. They crank out heat in a directed, safe, and odor free manner. This one only has one heater, adjustable to 3 levels, so it is ideal for one person, maybe 2, and should last many hours on a 20 pound propane tank. It is a manual light system, which is normal for these type of heaters. I have yet to find one with an integrated lighter.

I’m camping a lot with friends and they always bringing this cool heater.I finally have one for my self and I can’t wait for the riding season to start using it in the desert.It’s super easy to use. Seems like very high quality, basically plug and play.I think it’s worth the money and it covers pretty big area.Overall amazing product
