As a septuagenerian I enjoyed the language and historical presntations in this book, reportedly written for young generation. In my childhood I read history upto class VIII as was compulsory. After retirement from professional life, I found the history books I read to be boring because of the statements being monotonus and no relations were made between the geographical locations of events of yesteryears and of present time. In this book I found these and am very happy as many of these matched with my present experiences of travelling within my country and some neighbouring countries. In fact I have decided to include some of the places in my next itinerary.

A light and interesting read, backed by proofs. Definitely one of the best summary we have of our history. Go for it even if you are not a book person.

Every details of the description is worth reading… so much of inspiration to read even more & more … the best way to inspire tender age students.

The book as the name suggest is about the history of India's geography and most importantly it sticks to the purpose. It talks about entire geography of India and its neighbourhood and also about ancient to modern History of India. It covers everything and gives something new on every page. That keeps the reader flipping the pages. Sanjeevji Thanks for a telling the history very differently. This idea of writing such a book itself is very intriguing. I got everything I expected of it.

A good book. But only one view point of history. There are other viewpoints you need to consider before getting the full picture. So take it with a pinch of salt.

It's good book to start with history of geography of Indian continent. Covers that mostly

This is for children. I didn’t notice because he actually has one on the same topic for adults.Too expensive to return. I have not read it because I don’t want to use the book - will try to find a child who may want it. I’m sure it’s good. He’s a lovely author for adults.

Fantastic book , Sanjeev did fabulous job in connecting the mythology with history and geography. I wonder how could he compile such difficult information and brought so much clarity

The book covers a lot of historical aspects of India which were either unknown or vaguely known due to our schooling system and my lack on interest in history of India when i was growing up. But better late than never.

Superb book... Indian history explained at a high level in a clear, simple and unbiased manner. Highly recommended.
