I kept him isolated, but still used this to disinfect everything while giving him the medicines the vets gave to get rid of the parasites. This seemed to do the trick without horrible odors. It was easy to use, too. Did not cause any bleaching or staining of anything I sprayed it on (plastic, carpet, vinyl flooring, cardboard, cloth).
