Definitely one of the best 1TB SSDs
Simple and easy. A cheap SSD with good capacity and a fast access. No DRAM cache, but that has little to no effect on gaming or working. Would recommend for any budget.

A fantastic upgrade for my workstation
I bought the 2TB Crucial P310 to upgrade my workstation, and the improvement was immediately noticeable.Installation was straightforward, and after cloning my existing drive everything worked perfectly. Boot times are incredibly quick, applications open almost instantly, and large files load much faster than before. I work with high-resolution photos and video, so having fast storage makes a real difference to day-to-day productivity. The 2TB capacity is a great balance as well. It gives me plenty of space for applications, active projects and media files without constantly having to juggle storage or move things onto external drives.I've used Crucial SSDs in the past and they've always been dependable, so I had no hesitation buying another one. This drive has been completely stable, with no issues during long editing sessions or large file transfers.Considering the performance you're getting, it also represents excellent value for money. If you're upgrading an older PC or adding more fast storage to a newer system, this is an easy recommendation. It offers a noticeable boost in responsiveness and has made my workstation feel significantly faster overall.

Great drive, lots of storage, high speed
It’s a good drive, I’m yet to put windows onto it so I can’t say about its boot drive however the drive for loading up games is really fast.Data transfer speeds across large files as well is really quick, tested on another NVME so it doesn’t bottleneck read/write times and it ends up being limited to what your cpu and memory can handle which is good7gb/s transfer is more than enough speeds. Security entirely depends on your device set up.As far as compatibility make sure it’s plugged into a NVME Gen 4 slot on your mother which you can check on your motherboard company’s website, or a gen 5 one if you have it.It’s an amazing upgrade and a lot of storage, I did get it before the Ai price increases but even still, worth the money.

Expanding your PS5 storage so a lot more games can stay installed and playable
I've had my PS5 since early 2021 but never got around to expanding the available NVME storage. I've had an external HDD connected to which I can copy PS5 games (and from which PS4 games can be installed and played) , to save long waits for downloading them as my internet speed is not great, but this is my first expansion that increases how many PS5 games I can have installed in a playable state.Install was fairly simple. Just pop the side cover of the ps5 off, unscrew the SSD cover and unscrew the screw used to connect your NVME SSD. Then take the ssd, attach a heat sink to it (sometimes included , in this case sold separately) and then plug it in and screw it down and cover it.Once the PS5 is plugged back in and turned on then the first thing it asks is to format the drive. Once this is done the drive is ready to go. I'm now copying all of my ps5 out of external storage onto it ( a lengthy process given external drive speeds) and then it will all be done. This drive itself is great, affordable and with a speed which is faster than the PS5 internal drive so more than good enough.

Crucial p310 50gb
🌟🌟🌟🌟☆Solid Performance for the Price—Great for Everyday UseI picked up the Crucial P310 500GB SSD to upgrade my aging laptop, and after a few weeks of use, I’m pretty impressed. Installation was a breeze thanks to the M.2 form factor, and my system recognized it instantly. Boot times dropped dramatically, and apps launch noticeably faster.Pros:- ⚡ Fast read/write speeds: Rated up to 7100 MB/s read and 6000 MB/s write, and while real-world speeds are a bit lower, it’s still snappy for everyday tasks.- 🔌 PCIe 4.0 support: Great if your system supports it—definitely future-proof.- 🧊 Runs cool and quiet: No overheating issues even during heavy file transfers.- 💰 Affordable: I got it on sale, and for the price, it’s a solid value.Cons:- 🧠 DRAM-less design: It uses host memory buffer (HMB), which is fine for most users, but not ideal for heavy workloads or content creators.- 🧱 QLC NAND: Lower endurance compared to TLC drives—rated at 220 TBW, so maybe not the best choice for write-heavy tasks.Overall, if you're looking for a budget-friendly SSD to breathe new life into your laptop or desktop, the Crucial P310 500GB is a great pick. Just be aware of its limitations if you're planning to use it for gaming or video editing. For casual use, it's a winner.

Fast and reliable to date. A well established brand. Recommended !
I use this drive as external storage with a Mac Mini. Solid performance in terms of transfer rate and seemingly reliable to date. These drives are so easy to install and set up. Tranfer speed is excellent and the 2TB storage capacitiy is more than adequate for my needs. Time will tell for reliability but for now Im getting great value at the price when purchased. Recommended !

Excellent Gen4 performance, stable under sustained loads
I installed the Crucial P310 1TB (CT1000P310SSD801) into my HP Omen laptop as an upgrade to the stock SSD, and it performed exactly as advertised. Being a PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe 1.4 drive, it negotiated Gen4 lanes properly and hit impressive sequential throughput.Using CrystalDiskMark, I measured peak sequential read speeds consistently in the ~7,050–7,100 MB/s range, and writes around ~5,800–6,000 MB/s — which aligns perfectly with the spec sheet and shows no sign of thermal throttling during short bursts. In longer, sustained writes, the dynamic SLC cache behaved as expected: initial full‑speed writes before tapering slightly under saturation. Random IOPS performance at QD32 was very respectable for a drive in this segment.Technical notes & observations:• Interface: PCIe Gen4 x4, NVMe 1.4• Form factor: M.2 2280, single‑sided module — fits snugly in laptop slots• Rated endurance: ~600 TBW (1TB variant) — excellent for consumer workloads• Controller: Phison E18 (confirmed via utility)• NAND: Micron TLC NAND, with DRAM buffer for sustained writes• Temperatures: peaked at ~68 °C during benchmarks without heatsink, within spec• Supports full TRIM, SMART, and power management features• Firmware was up‑to‑date on arrivalIn gaming scenarios, level load times noticeably improved over the previous Gen3 SSD. In workstation tasks, 4K random writes at low queue depths are solid, though obviously this is a consumer‑oriented gaming/enthusiast drive, not an enterprise one.For laptops or desktops with Gen4 capability, this drive offers flagship‑level sequential performance, excellent compatibility, and reliable thermal behavior even in constrained laptop chassis. If you’re upgrading from a Gen3 drive, you’ll notice a significant jump in transfer speeds, particularly in large file transfers and heavy multitasking. This is a top‑tier SSD in its class and price bracket.Highly recommended for enthusiasts and gamers looking to maximize PCIe Gen4 bandwidth without compromise.

Great Upgrade for My ProBook
I installed this Crucial P310 1TB SSD in my HP ProBook as an upgrade, and I am very happy with it. The install was straightforward, the drive was recognized without any drama, and it gave the laptop a noticeable improvement. The extra storage alone was worth it, but the speed is the real benefit. Boot times, file transfers, loading programs, and general responsiveness all feel better. It made the ProBook feel much less limited and a lot more useful for everyday work, school, and general computer use.I also like that it is a PCIe Gen4 NVMe drive, so it has plenty of performance headroom. For the price, capacity, and speed, this was a solid upgrade. If you have a compatible laptop or desktop and want more storage with better performance, this is an easy recommendation. It did exactly what I needed, and I would buy it again.
