Q: Is this light actually laser based or is it just a marketing gimmick for a focused led? some of the higher end lights use an actual laser.

Not sure if it’s technically a laser… but I would have to say it is definitely at least a VERY focused projector bulb lens. I got one thinking it was two and ordered the second minutes after testing the first one, shines about a 3ft ish diameter circle at 50yd and at the 150yd it’s more of a donut of light but still illuminates the middle and is about the size of the road (not that I have ever used them on road) also the flood function outperforms my 50” light bar, just has a tighter throw obviously. Very good light, heavy and expensive but I’m very satisfied with every aspect

Yes dear, the black wire is the power negative, the yellow wire is the DRL, the SPOT light is on when you control the red wire alone, the LASER light is on when you control the blue wire alone, when you work with the red and blue wires together, spot and LASER light up together
