There are a couple minimal sets of tools you'll need to start and continue 3d printing. You'll need a basic set of model removal and cleanup tools for cleaning up your actual 3d prints, and you'll need a set of 3d printer maintenance tools like this one.This set gives you all the basics you'll need in order to keep things running smoothly, and you can of course fill in the gaps where necessary along the way.

Note: this product page seems to have changed since I ordered this. When I ordered and what I received was a 16 piece kit with brass bristle brushes, tweezers, hot end nozzle wrenches and unclogging needles.So out of all of these parts the only really useful ones were the nozzle wrench and unclogging needles. I was using one of the brass brushes to clean my nozzle until I realized it's actually brass covered steel. I noticed that because it was attracted to a magnet I had nearby. Brass isn't magnetic. I've since stopped using it since I don't want to scratch up my brass nozzles.The tweezers are fine, but pretty bargain bin quality. The wrenches are good, and one of the only things I'm still using. Super handy to have a wrench like this that holds onto the nozzle rather than a standard open wrench where it'll just fall down once it's unscrewed. The needles have also saved me recently with a clog caused by PLA-CF.

I'm not convinced of the durability of this set, however it is a convenient purchase. I feel like these are great for a beginner that doesn't want to purchase each part individually. Overall, it's a great starter kit.

This kit is advertised as 3D printer friendly, and I have no reason to doubt that.
