Nectar 12” Memory Foam Mattress, Queen, Medium Firm, 1-Year Trial

I’ve had the bed for about 5 months now, great bed. Have no issues with temperature, comfort, fit or support. I am 6ft 250lbs. I got a queen size and it’s working out great. I’d say the only thing reviews were correct about is, sitting on the edge will cause you to slowly slip off the bed. Edges are much more softer than the center. Other than that, I sleep great and can’t complain.

I’ve been very impressed with the Nectar Classic 12” Memory Foam Mattress. The medium-firm feel strikes a great balance between support and comfort. It contours nicely without feeling like you’re sinking too much, and it does a great job relieving pressure on the back and shoulders. The cooling top layer is a nice touch as well. I tend to sleep warm and this mattress stays comfortable through the night. Setup was easy (typical mattress-in-a-box), and it expanded quickly once unwrapped. For the price, the quality feels excellent. It’s supportive, quiet, and minimizes motion transfer, which makes it a solid choice whether it’s for a main bed, guest room, or dorm setup. Overall, very happy with the purchase.

Amazingly easy and so much more comfortable than the mattress it replaced. No odor, inflated quickly. For my size 150ish pounds, it is firm and solid, a little too firm for side sleeping, but I just popped the old topper in cover on this and it is wonderful. If you need extra support around edges because you like to sit and tie shoes, it may not be the best choice, but I am loving it. On sale it was a wonderful deal, and I'm so glad I purchased after reading reviews around the web

It would have been nice if unpacking instructions were included, but it turned out to be quit easy. It does require some "man handling" but that is to be expected. The comfort description is correct. The only thing it doesn't have, is side bolsters. Personally I don't like them, but some folks may. I'm satisfied.

I'm appalled at how uncomfortable this mattress is. The description states medium firmness, and I'm not sure in what world that is true. I unboxed it and let it expand/air out for a full week because I got it right before I went out of town. Returning from a work trip I was excited to sleep on my new mattress...only to slip into bed that night onto what I can only describe as a brick. It has absolutely zero give and genuinely is the worst mattress I've ever slept on. I was an early adopter of the "bed in a box", purchasing a Casper back in 2017. That model held up well, and after 8 years I wanted to replace but they no longer make that model. The comparable Casper models are a bit more expensive now, so I looked to Nectar and based on reviews decided to try this. Such a mistake. I have scheduled a return pick up with Amazon for this Nectar mattress and just got back from a Mattress store where I ordered a Sealy hybrid. As much as I'm a fan of online shopping, mattresses may be the one thing you still need to go in person and test out if you're able to. Had to share the review in case it's helpful - if you're considering this mattress may I suggest the Casper Sleep Element as an alternative. Comparable in price and genuinely medium firmness, not rock hard like this is. I have that at my Mom's house b/c I visit quite often and wanted something decent to sleep on there, just wanted something a little more elevated for my bed at home that I sleep on every night.

Decent and comfortable mattress...

We haven’t had it for long but this feels like a great mattress so far. Soft and supportive at the same time. Such a great value for the price. However, shipping was a real hassle. Amazon shipped this through USPS. The day it was supposed to arrive, the mail carrier left us a note that said it was too big to deliver. They left this note in the mailbox, not at our doorstep so by the time we got it, the post office was closed for the weekend. Went to the post office during the work day, waited in a long line, and they had the package. Luckily, the gentleman helping me helped carry it to my car. Amazon/Nectar should change shipping methods ASAP, as the whole point of ordering a mattress on Amazon is to have it delivered to me.

We love our mattress!! This was recommended to us by a friend after our first mattress was too hard. The 12” height is soft enough to sit on and feel comfortable as a side sleeper but also firm enough for good sleeping support. It was ready within 24 hours out of the package and fit our bed perfectly! Would buy again!
