Unexpected flavor in baked goodies
I ordered this Briess - 812322 - Dry Malt Extract - Golden Light - 1 lb to try my hand at using malt in my baking. Holy macaroni and cheese is it a game changer! The flavor is phenomenal and totally delicious. A bit...marshmallow-y and old fashioned. I don't think I'll ever be without a bag of Briess malt in the pantry again. It dissolves pretty easily in warm liquid (little whisking does wonders!). This time I had "Golden Light". Now I need to try their other flavor profiles. Yum!

Mushroom cultivation
I use this for making agar plates in mushroom cultivation. My cultures have been strong and healthy. No complaints so far.

Does the job
Made some delicious mead/braggarts with it. Not much to compare it to yet but I’ve been happy with my results

Wonderful Malt Flavor for Ice Cream!
I am not a home brewer but this product is a must have for me. Melted Cadbury's milk chocolate, a good, rich, eggy custard, toss in the Dry Malt Extract and you will have the most amazing chocolate, malt ice cream. FANTASTIC!

It's brewing malt, not milkshake malt (though it still is good in shakes)
If you're buying this to make malted milkshakes, be aware that it won't taste as sweet as regular malted milk like you get in the grocery store. (They're still good though!)

Works as well as Carnation Malted Milk powder for malts
I found a home brewer's website that had a commenter that said they had used this to make ice cream malts. It works quite nicely, tastes good, and the bonus is that there is not nearly as much sugar in it as the stuff from the grocery store.

Works Great
I liked this product. I use it as a sugar for my liquid cultures and agar dishes. Good price point. I will purchase this again.
