The BEST bra for breast reconstruction surgery!!!
This is the BEST bra for breast reconstruction after breast cancer - even my surgeon loved it!!! I needed a front-close "sports bra" to wear 24/7 after expander/implant exchange surgery and I couldn't find anything that didn't have seams, cups, etc. This bra is smooth, seamless and cupless. It's incredibly comfortable but gives plenty of compression and holds everything in place, including a gentle push towards the center for those who with side support concerns. The hook and eye closures are easy to close even the day of surgery and the adjustable hooks on the straps and in the front give you plenty of adjustment options. Despite their location, I find zero discomfort where the hooks are. I am a 32 band (I'm swollen but am about a C cup) and the small fits perfectly. I'm stunned I can sleep in this without any discomfort. I purchased another one and plan to wear them even after the 3 month post-op period for support around the house.

Comfortable compression bra
I was given a surgical compression bra made by the same company but a different style and found it to be be very uncomfortable. I felt it hard to breath it was so tight and the next size up was too big. This style has three levels of adjustment both in the width as well as height....I am tall and have it on the lengthiest adjustment. The straps are wide and much more comfortable as well, they don't dig in. Having a comfortable bra after this type of surgery made a huge difference for me and was worth every penny. I am actually 33", but purchased a 34", and use it on the widest setting, so I would say this runs a little small. Would recommend getting these ahead of surgery so you don't have to wait and suffer with the bra your doctor might give you....they usually don't offer options.

very good support/surgery bra
I got this due to partial mastectomy (a really huge mass) and needed to support and add pressure. The first one was too big (XXL) and I went by the sizing chart. Neither my good or my sick girl had enough to fit in and the width was too long. My dimensions were bust 46 and under bust 43. So I then ordered a smaller size XL. Amazon would not refund and I live outside the US.The correct size adds enough pressure and great support. The straps have hooks so I am able to put one side longer for the good girl and the other side shorter for the smaller breast. I wish all bras had straps like these. The back is wide for good support and there is only one seam sewn. The seam is sewn in the back (putting two halves together) and outside for more comfort. Because the bra closes in front I don't need to stretch my hand to fix in the back. The only downfall is the elastic band at the bottom is not wide enough for me.Great bra for surgery where pressure and support are needed.

Sizing Off
I ordered this in hopes that it would fit like the Marena Recovery one I woke up with from my surgeon. However this was too big and needed to be returned. I didn't care for the style or material, so I will not be reordering.

Not as comfortable as walmart bra for post op
I ordered this bra on the recommendation from my PS to wear after my BA. My surgeon had a list of multiple bras and I bought this as my primary recovery bra as well as multiple sizes of an $8 fruit of the loom walmart bra that was on the surgeons list as well. I went from a 32A preop to a B-C cup post op and Im 5'8' and 130 lbs - and I bought a medium in this Marena bra.I brought this bra to the surgery center with me and the OR/PACU nurses loved it (they put the compression bra on you in the OR - or maybe PACU, Im not sure but I woke up in it) - they said it was easy to put on me and fit perfectly and they even told the surgeon to have all his patients buy just this bra! Leaving the surgery center it did fit but later that night as I started to swell it got really uncomfortable. I switched it out for the fruit of the loom walmart bra quickly and eventually switched that out for an bigger size of the walmart bra.Now as my swelling has gone down (I'm post op day 7) I find I still favor the walmart bra (in the smallest size) more than the marena. Even though the marena has multiple size adjustments I still cant get it comfortable mainly because - as other reviewers have said - it really doesn't provide enough coverage for the top part of your breast - I feel like Im spilling out the top. Yet the top part of your breast ("the upper pole" as my surgeon says) - when you are post op - is the part that swells the most and where you want the most compression - so that the muscle can relax and your implant can settle. (This is why some surgeons suggest a breast band to help add compression to the top of the breast - since these bras often leave the cleavage uncovered/uncompressed).Honestly I don 't know why a premier surgical bra doesn't cover the entire breast - who really is prioritizing showing cleavage when they are trying to heal? Isn't everyone's priority with these bras to compress the whole breast for the whole 4 weeks we're stuck in them, so that when we are healed we have the best results, faster?I gave three stars because the PACU nurses loved it, I do prefer the wide lower band - it doesn't rub so bad against my inframammary incision, and I like the adjustment options on the front and the shoulders.

Great for people who are hard to fit.
I had lumpectomy with reconstruction. My size now is difficult to fit. If the bra was the correct size around then the cup was way too big. I ordered one of these to just give it a try. It actually gives support and is comfy with the 1" band. It makes me feel better when dressing too. I don't feel so down on myself. I also sweat alot and it is cool and comfy. I've ordered 5 so far. The front and straps are adjustable with hooks. Great price and value! Most bras made for survivors are outrageously expensive.
