I rely heavily on reviews to make purchasing decisions so wanted to review this product. This is definitely worth getting. You won't be nervous about accidentally cutting your baby while trimming his or her nails. This allows you control over cutting and I think you would have to try pretty hard to accidentally cut your baby while using these. The magnifier is not really useful unless you have a second person holding the magnifier over the baby's hands while you trim. I was a bit dissapointed that I didn't get the baby scissors that has the file but a reviewer mentioned that it doesn't work so these or ones without the magnifier are just fine. Definitely worth the $10 or so. Another product I would recommend would be the baby nose tweezers for pulling out hard snot. Hope this review helps.
