Life's good when you have things working as intended but life's better when you have finer things to work for you such as this washing machine. LG has done justice to this segment of their washing machines by providing all necessity features which bring peace of mind when it is time to wash clothes. The sleek and robust design truly stand-out when you look at it and every operation is easy to select and with the press of a button, things get taken care of automatically. You get several washing modes which can be selected using the mode dial on the top front panel and a digital display shows the time (approximate, not precise) and a few other indications of your washing cycle. Hot water has three temperature settings for different fabrics and they work well but it is not selectable with Quick Wash (30 mins cycle) and probably with a couple of other modes too but I am yet to try them all. Every wash cycle other than Quick Wash is well over an hour long and there is minimal noise during the wash cycle and it plays a short music after the cycle is complete. Rinse operation is good enough and the clothes come out almost dry and they will completely dry in air within a couple of hours. Front load washing powder and liquid detergent are both compatible with the machine and do a decent job at washing depending on how dirty your clothes are. Some stains might require two continuous cycles but if you know how to use the machine properly, one cycle might be enough; appropriate amount unt if detergent and proper hot water setting. There are various modes to wash different fabrics and wash times vary and there are also special modes to clean tbe drum with de-scaling powder too. Three touch buttons are available on the touch section of the unit and holding down the "Stop" and "Start / Pause" buttons together for 3 seconds continuously enables / disables Child Lock but it does not lock the Power button which means the machine can be powered of by a playful kid - atleast no other functions work until unlocked. Lid has a press and release mechanism to make it water tight for operation and is easy to operate and it will not open immediately upon power failure but will allow you to open it after 2 or 3 minutes of wait time. Power cable (requires a 26 A socket the same as your electric Geyser) is adequately long to connect to a nearby wall socket and the drain pipe is fairly lengthy (over half a metre long may be); enough to use in most cases. Do not forget to drain the tub manually from the front facing drain every month or so to make sure any gathered debris is timely cleared; otherwise the tub won't drain entirely after enough debris gathers. Machine is sturdy and won't shake if installed well - make sure to remove secure bolts after you keep the washing machine in place and also, install the rat net under the machine (installation service is free, so use it). Machine is heavy as it should be and it is definitely worth the cost. Happy washing!

Great washing machine. Delivery and installation services were great. Makes very low noise as the drum is gear driven from the motor, no separate stand required if you are not moving the machine. Has very clear error codes which can be googled and sorted out by anyone. Very thich stains might not go completely which you should scrub by hand. Otherwise it makes your life very easy.

This is the first time I purchased a LG appliance. Purchased it at Amazon GIF Sale, therefore got a good deal. Lets summarize the review in pros and cons: Pros: 1. Heavy Machine. The machine weighs about 60kg therefore, it's difficult for one person to shift it. This shows the built quality. 2. Materials used: The machine is mostly made of metal. The Function Panel and below Lint filter panel are made of plastic fibre. 3. Noise: The machine's motor is very silent. I run it 800 rpm only because it reduces stress on motor. The noise which is pre dominant is of drain pump. 4. Wash quality: I am very much satisfied with wash quality of the machine. I can easily load 12 clothes. Wash consumption is also very less. 5. Ease of use: The functions are very easy to use. 10 wash programs are more than enough for any clothes. I only use Cotton, cotton large, MIX. 6. LG washing products: I purchased 3 sachets from techinican at a mouth watering price. Online it's about 650-700, but the techincian provided me fantastic discount with proper GST Bill. LG Liquid detergent was provided to me for 295. It's definetly costly, but its very effective even with half cap. It's comes pre mixed with softener as per LG. Cons: 1. LG installation team is prompt but the service men in Kolkata have a bit rough attitude. They will come and Try to install machine as fast as possible. The Techinician did not even call me to ask whether I have installed a special tap for Inlet pipe or not, once he reached home, then he started asking about it. He was like, "Oh you don't Have that special tap, please go and purchase it ASAP." Therefore, as a customer don't bow down to their attitude. Here I was dissatisfied. Also a checksheet is provided with machine booklet, therefore for sure, ask techinican to perform all the checks. 2. Confusion regarding stand: I purchased an adjustable Stand from local market. But according to techinican it's not good to install a Stand because machine might vibrate more. After research, I found it's logical. But after 2 days, someone from LG service called me and asked "Did technician provide you the Stand for machine?". I was confused at this point. I would recommend not to install a Stand for better life of machine. Overall, I am very satisfied with product and would recommend this machine any day.

Good product

This product purchased on June 6/2026 and delivered June 8/2026 and no one came for installation till June/12/2026 and I called to LG call centre and complained ,they gave me an commercial officer number and told call tomorrow morning,as my complaint time was 7 to 7.30pm ,so called morning from 9am almost 50 to 60 times called and he picked 12.30pm and told will send today and waited till June 14/2026 no one came and again complaint to LG call centre .Now they ask from the start what happened everything we need to explain and June 15/2026 morning 10am one service engineer called and told he will come today till 9pm he didn't come and night 9pm I called him and he says ,sorry sir my service cancelled your address and gave other address,if you want you ask my office tomorrow morning sir,now again called to LG call centre and complained,now they gave ASM number and call tomorrow. So till now am writing this review my washing machine is not installed and don't know whether they will do it or not. Thanks to LG ,for this wonderful network and service and effective customer care The beauty is our previous washing machine was LG only ,which we used for 10years with 2 times privately serviced.

Energy good and value for money. But installation not done by distributor. I have booked directly through LG website
