mine is on a 4.7 tundra . I don't have dual exhaust just replaced my factory muffler with this one. it is a strait through design like a large diameter glass pack. It is louder than stock but not as loud as a Flowmaster series 40. My wife said it is more of a deep sound rather than a loud sound. Hope this helps

They are completely universal, I would double check your existing muffler dimensions and Inlet/outlet offset to make sure it would line up with your existing piping if you don't plan to replace the midpipes/tailpipes. Hope this helps
