Great product if you can read instructions
Lots of complaints about difficult to install and inconsistent flow rates. Well, they tell you to heat the tubing ends in boiling water (or use a Bic lighter) to soften it and then they slide right on and are never coming off. As to inconsistent flow rates - duh, they are adjustable through a broad range of flow and so some adjusting is necessary if you want every one to flow exactly the same. People are their own worst enemy when it comes to reading and following instructions as these are a very good product and as inexpensive as you could want compared to buying locally and getting the same product for five times the price.

These are EXACTLY as pictured; replacement ends ONLY
These drippers are EXACTLY as you can seen in the picture. They DO NOT have the main distribution spike either attached or included! That is to say, these drippers are not intended to be used for INITIAL installation. They are replacement ends and WELL MADE at that. Thus, they are FIVE STAR, in their category. Some purchasers may be disappointed because they did not view the illustration carefulluy and expected to get attached feed spikes. Well, too bad. You get what you order and as you can see in the illustration, these drippers are sturdy and work admirably well as replacements for drippers that have been chewed, stepped on, or clogged beyond serviceable restoration. At this price and quality, this package of drippers is truly a find; and frankly, for me anyway, the 'twist-off' spikes are a waste and the softer plastic and casting process that facilitates such an 'all-in-one' device results in an inferior grade of product. If you want feed spikes, buy only what you need.

They work well and much cheaper than Rainbird
In the past I have always bought the Rainbird 6" stake emmiters. At the start of the season I was down to half a dozen so I went to order more - and was shocked at the price - 9.28 for FOUR! I decided to try some lower priced options and bought these instead. I was pleasantly surprised and disappointed when they arrived. They did not come with the coupler that the RB brand does so you have to buy a 50 pack of double ended hose barbs. The best thing about these is that the adjusting cap on top has about 50% more threads than the RB and it is easier to adjust. The one bad thing about these is that the fitting that you slip the hose on is quite a bit larger than the fitting on the Rainbird. It is extremely difficult to push the hose onto these fittings; I'm not sure if it can be done. What I do is take my Dewalt 20 volt cordless heat gun and heat the end of the hose for with it for about 10 seconds and it slips right on and doesn't leak. That works on new hoses but not on hoses that have been outside in use for a few years. Now I will have to see how these hold up over the years and if the plug up more or less than the Rainbirds.

Great value, yet to find a dud in the pack
The media could not be loaded. This is not a fan spray pattern emitter so if you are looking for that there are many to choose from but if this is the pattern you are looking for these are a great value for the money. I also have some fan sprayers and for most applications I prefer these but when I am seeking a broader spray pattern with a greater diameter I use fan emitters. These are adjustable so you can turn the output up or down by twisting the top to fit your application. I connected these to 1/4 inch tubing and they fit perfectly. I find it does help to use a small torch to heat the end of the tubing a bit to get them to slip on more easily, you could also use a lighter or heat gun for the same effect, you just want to warm it a bit, not melt it. I have yet to find a dud in the pack, I have better luck with these than I do with the fan emitters in this regard.

Huge barb. Heat your hose with a lighter!
This product is great however I did NOT have the strength to get these onto the 1/4” tubing without heating it with a lighter. My husband pushed them in like it was nothing but I had 20 to do so got the tubing hot first otherwise I would have NEVER got them installed. Barb is definitely huge compared to other brands you’d get at a big box store.

Tight fit on rain drip tubing
Using rain drip tubing these little buggers need lots of help to muscle in. They won’t be blowing off though. I use some fine grit sandpaper to take a thousandth or two off the emitter and hot water to soften the tube, otherwise you’ll be out in the garden grunting at your drip tube while you try to twist and push these on. The quality is good and compared to a buck plus for like items at the big box stores, these are a bargain.

Good buy!
I have 12 emitters connected to 1/4" line via 1/2" feed line and another 8 off a 1/2 tee with great success.Wide open the spray is over 8" radius. Great value!

Tight fit in 1/4" tubing
These emitters work fine and are certainly a good value compared to the name brand models. However, buyers need to be aware that they a a very tight fit in 1/4" tubing common in the US. Not impossible to install, but one needs to be careful not to snap off the hose barb.
