Great Security Camera With the Features You Need
I really like that Ring offers a like-new option for its outdoor security cameras. It's a nice way to get the features of a Ring camera while saving a little money compared to purchasing one brand new. The Stick Up Cam has several features I look for in a security camera, including live viewing, motion alerts, two-way communication, and color night vision. Being able to check on your property directly from your phone is especially convenient when you're away from home. I also appreciate the weather-resistant design and the flexibility to use it around a driveway, patio, or other outdoor areas. Having multiple Ring cameras accessible through one app is another advantage. The biggest thing I would check with a like-new camera is its physical condition and whether it connects and operates properly. Overall, this looks like a practical option for expanding a home security system without purchasing another brand-new camera.

Holy Grail of Pet Sitting Mode (Non Tesla)
First off, we love our three French Bulldogs. If we leave them in the car, we have a rule of twenty minutes maximum. The holy grail of Pet Sitting mode is AC running and live monitoring. The Nissan Ayira's EV remote climate control is okay; I think it would work fine in spring and autumn. However, in extreme heat or cold, it struggles to function. With the recent high temperatures in New England, it can not keep up. However, if you leave the car running and locked, the AC stays on at full blast with little impact on the EV battery. This is what we do now: put the car in park, leave the car on, exit, and lock. We come back, and the car is still nice and cold. Remember, this is an EV; no engine is idling. Two of my three sons now have Tesla Model Ys, and that's precisely how that Pet Sitting mode works: the car stays on when you get out and keeps the AC running. Live Monitoring: I had the official Nissan dual dashcam installed by the dealer but was very disappointed. The YouTube videos led you to believe it is modern and can be accessed remotely. Not true; it seems antiquated in 2025, and it has terrible remote access. The only way I have had success is by sneaker-netting the card to the computer to get the feeds. The Ayria has an AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot built in, and I activated the 90-day trial; however, the car must be on for the hotspot to work. We've already determined that we need the car on for the AC anyway, so no big deal. I already have several Ring security cameras and pay for a subscription that provides cloud storage and live view across all my devices. I found this refurbished rechargeable Ring Stickup Camera (3rd Gen). I added this to my Ring account and connected it to the Ayria Hot-Spot. And it works great; I get motion alerts, and I can get a live, crystal-clear picture of the dogs. We can even talk to them. It even has a siren, which I can use to get anyone's attention, although I haven't tested it to see if it would harm the dog's ears. It works great at night as well, with the night vision. Not a perfect solution by any means, but it works, and I wanted to review this way to give others ideas. You can not have wireless Apple CarPlay and the hotspot active at the same time. I could use wired Apple CarPlay, but to be honest, the Hot Spot toggles on and off pretty quickly. Park the car, ensure the AC temperature is set, and put up the car's windshield cover. Turn on the Hot Spot, exit, and lock the car. I will buy a spare battery, so I always have one charged and ready. If, at the end of the Hot-Spot trial, I am unable to secure a satisfactory deal from AT&T, I will opt for a mobile hotspot with a choice of carriers. This camera is also ideal for an RV.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Battery-Powered Indoor Cam – Flexible and Reliable!
We’ve been using this Ring Indoor Camera (battery-powered version) , and it has exceeded our expectations. It’s discreet, reliable, and extremely versatile for indoor use. 🔋 Rechargeable Battery: No need to plug it in! This is one of my favorite features. The camera runs on a rechargeable battery, which lasts several days depending on usage. You can remove it easily to charge when needed. 🛠️ Mounting & Setup: It includes screws and a mounting bracket that you can use on a wall, ceiling, or flat surface like a shelf or table. We chose to mount it high on a door frame for a full view of our living space. Setup was fast using the Ring app – under 10 minutes and it was live 📷 Video Quality: Daytime video is sharp and clear. The night vision mode also gives great visibility even in total darkness. 🔊 Two-Way Audio: Very helpful when you’re in another room. We use it to speak to family members or calm pets if they’re making noise in the living room. The sound is loud and clear on both ends. 🚨 Motion Alerts: Customizable and reliable. We receive instant notifications when movement is detected, and the sensitivity settings help avoid false alarms. 📱 Ring App: Very user-friendly and organized. You can access live view, speak through the mic, check past recordings (with a Ring plan), and adjust settings as needed. ⸻ ✅ Pros: • No wires needed – completely rechargeable. • Flexible mounting options: wall, ceiling, or shelf. • Clear audio and sharp video. • Discreet design and excellent performance.⚠️ One tip: Keep a second battery on hand if you want uninterrupted service while one is charging.

Great home security
We love this for our living room especially with our indoor dog. It also is helpful when we are out of town and need to check in on our animals and plants.

Nice Cameras but we wish we would have known this.
I feel like this will be a slightly unfair/fair review. All my cameras are Ring, and probably continue to be, so the product is actually really decent. If you don't have Ring currently (for your own knowledge) to record on more than two devices and KEEP the storage for the videos. Where it captures movement, you have to pay for the Ring Plan. So please factor that in when deciding to purchase these products. I also wasn't aware that the timeframe on videos that are stored is 60 days, unless you manually go into the app and change that. The clarity is really good, the products offered is great, and the options on putting up a privacy area for people who live in town and want to be mindful of neighbors is amazing. However we have issues sometimes with the motion not being activated when we know someone came by. We frequently have had to adjust motion zones and it's still not perfect for us. Which has caused us to have to purchase other cameras to cover certain areas. Honestly we are happy with the cameras, but as a whole it's definitely not a perfect system yet and there are extra things to think about before you start investing in the Ring cameras.

Great Security Investment
High quality product and picture. I found an outdoor installation video on Youtube that walked me through the steps.

Waste of money! NOT WORTH IT!
Worst cameras ever. Forst month they were perfect, but after the free trial, I paid for the subscription and the cameras just keep dying on me. When batteries are replaced, it has the hardest time ever reconnecting AND even tho I PAID for the expensive subscription, these cameras dont even capture everything! All my recordings are of people leaving my porch (delivery people). I had someone come by and rimg my doorbell and it was not recorded. The battery life SUCKS on these. Not worth it and such a waste of my money. I wish I could get a refund for the subscription and the cameras. Oh and if you live where it snows, dont bother! One camera completely broke after a small snow storm. Again, waste of money!

Great Ring, even used
My other stick up just stopped working. It won’t reconnect after changing batteries. Any way these go up so flawlessly and stay put. I bought the solar panels to go with 4 of them. Everything is working as it should and is just humming away. Great picture and night taping, I have a flock of deer in my yard. It’s poured and heavily snowed and they just trudged on perfectly. The new one (this one) got buried and froze over it for weeks and I think that was a heck of a test and great product turnout.
