It does the trick - takes some figuring to get right.
My setup:1 MacBook Pro M2 14 inch1 Mac Mini M11 23" Viewsonic Monitor1 27" Dell monitorSonoma 14.4.1I use dual extended monitors.NOTE: I needed 2 USBC hubs (anker 223) to make this work. I had read other reviews and was prepared for this. The instructions also (badly) explain this.I had to play around with the setup to get it right. I'm hoping the picture I included is clear enough to make sense for how I set it up. I set it up and made sure all of the signals worked as they should with my Mini and then set up the laptop. The order in which you connect the HDMI inputs is important because it will affect the resolution settings. Your results may vary and you may have to systematically plug things in to figure out what works. (learn from my mistake and make sure your cables are seated firmly - I wasted a good 20 minutes figuring that out)Once you get past the initial setup it seems to work very well. Switching is clean and precise and I have no issues with peripherals (keyboards, usb hubs and trackpads)I did need to get a USB adapter for my headphones so that I can use one set for both machines. The adapter will plug into the USB A that is directly under the wired remote input on the diagram.

Worked Great for just 30+ Days. Then It Broke Down and Seller and Warranty Unreachable
Update on 5/10/2024: Seller offered a full refund. In response to seller's nice gesture, I'm now changing the review to 5-star for seller's extra efforts.A happy user for a moth and half. Product build quality seems good. One monitor output is out of work. While the other monitor output still has signal, the problem is that the switch won't switch to the other PC because it waits till the dead monitor port to respond, which will never. So now I have a nice looking KVM switch that does not switch.Granted that products can fail. My misery is that I cannot reach to the seller and cannot get any product help, nevertheless to say the work warranty. Be warned that, your experience may vary, you are looking at a well built, warranty-free, help-free kvm switch that will work trouble-free but only for a month or so.

Stopped working after 3 weeks
The headline says it all. It worked fine for about three weeks, and then it stopped. Switching between PCs takes forever, and often, only one monitor is visible. The other one appears after 2-3 minutes. I need to press the switch between PCs knob (both the remote and on-board) 10 times before it starts to react. I do not recommend this product.

Two PC, both use same 2 monitors
Went from virtual desktop to a lap top so needed a solution that didn't include extra monitors. This was it! Easy to install and supports two monitors so I easily toggle between work and personal extended desktops.

Don't purchase if you have HDMI only monitors
TL;DR: DON'T BUY IF YOU ONLY HAVE HDMI INPUT ON YOUR MONITORSI bought this for switching between my personal desktop and work laptop. I selected this one since my GPU only has DP outputs and my laptop dock as HDMI and DP outputs. Both my monitors are HDMI only inputs and have been working fine directly connected to both with active DP (source) to HDMI (output) cables. Thus I expected this KVM to work perfectly. It did not work for the DP video source. I was able to use the DP to HDMI cables into the KVM and get one monitor working, but connecting the other monitor to the DP output refused to work. The best I could do was get a black screen without any video signal.I tried multiple combos of cables, including DP to DP from my GPU to the KVM with no luck. I returned this for the HDMI only version which works perfectly with the active DP to HDMI cables I have. If you need perfect DisplayPort switching with EDID support, pony up for the Level1Techs product.Otherwise it seems to be a nice and compact unit at a good price. I appreciate at least some cables are included.

Works great for my WFH rig - FYI about USB connections
This KVM is exactly what I needed. I have 3 computers (2MBP 1 macmini) with 2 monitors which share a keyboard and webcam. (Separate bluetooth mouse for each and headset). One click I can swap everything over for my monitors which is great. The only thing that was weird was the USB ports. When I plugged in the keyboard/webcam to the front of the KVM - I could see the USB devices being powered but things were not working on the computers. I had the computers connected from the KVM using a USB-A to USB-C - due to the mbp port configuration. After some fiddling I realized I needed to connect a USB-A to USB-A from the KVM to an adaptor which then plugged into the mbp.I couldn't figure out why the direct connection didn't work but the lack of USB-A on the mpb required some sort of adaptor.I like the device and it works for what I need.

Good connectivity, can't drive multiple high rez monitors
Bought this for 1 4k@30 via Display port and 1 1440p@144 via HDMI 1.4 monitor. Does great with the kvm aspect and the HDMI monitor seems to fare ok but the display port monitor starts to cut out and display static after a few minutes on, maybe an overheating issue?Did tons of troubleshooting and couldn't get it to work. Might be ok at lower resolutions, if you only need one monitor, or some combination of the two but couldn't get it working for my setup.

Muito útil e material de boa qualidade
Estou usando a 1 semana e estou gostando muito. É bem compacto e funciona bem.Funciona tanto com 1 monitor quanto com 2 monitores (se o seu computador tiver opção para plugar 2 monitores).

If you don't have to keep looking
Very average, bugs a lot when switching between PC and laptop and you have to disconnect and reconnect USBs/HDMI which kind of beats the purpose of a KVM switch. While this is not on the expensive side but it's not too cheap either. Would probably invest a bit more and get a higher end one. (will update review if things change)

Revolutionised Office
I work from home for a number of different clients and have dual monitors. One client has just moved over to Teams which was causing havoc on my laptop with my other clients. I therefore dug out my old laptop just for them but the hassle of manualling unplugging a docking station each time I needed to switch clients was driving me potty!I looked at a number of KVM switches and this seemed to be just what I was looking for. Three computers (extra one being my home CCTV) and two monitors.Neither of my laptop are compatible with dual monitors so I have been using a docking station (USB-C on the newer laptop and USB-A on the older one) to get around this. Now for this to work for me, I need to plug the HDMI leads (of which you need two for each laptop) into the USB-C docking station but for the USB-A docking station, one HDMI needs to be in the docking station and the other needs to be straight into the laptop. The CCTV, a basic system just plugs into the KVM switch via HDMI.I purchased short HDMI leads but it is still spider city around the back of the desk.Pic 1 shows the whole setup, Pic 2 is the KVM switch in action, Pic 3 is the USB-C Dock and Pic 4 (difficult to capture) shows USB-A Doc and plugs into laptop.Hope this helps!

2 weeks so far so good
Use this for my work from him setup. Other than doubling the cables I'm using (unavoidable) it's been great, allowing quick and seamless swapping from my desktop pc to work laptop. I swap my dual monitors, keyboard, headphones and mouse, monitor resolution and setup stays between swaps and it's a 1 second swap time really.

Do not buy
What is the sole purpose of a kvm switch? Switching computer with only one set of peripherals. Well, this one is unable to accomplish that task flawlessly. Sometimes only one of the screen lights up, some other time the mouse isn't functionnal. You have to switch the signal back and return to get it to work. It's ok when it works, but the fact that it is unreliable is really annoying.
